Zhenya Katava as Jemma Jones ^^

Jasper's POV

Something definitely doesn't add up here. I lied, I know but I had to. How could I convince her of something that I didn't even know myself.

I hardly slept last night, my brain trying to get a grip of everything. Mia wasn't Jemma's mother, I was sure about that. Mia was incapable of bearing a child so there is no way in this world that she gave birth to Jemma.

That is exactly where the huge gap is. Something is missing in the puzzle. Or rather someone. Who is Jemma's real mother?

All her life she's been disappointed by so many people and I don't want to be added to that list. The one person she taught was her mother, the one truth that she held on to so dearly turns out to be a lie. How do you explain that to someone?

This is all messed up, too messed up for even me to handle. I've been patient till now, I think I can wait an hour more.

I turned off the shower, then tied a towel around my waist. Jemma was still sleeping so I tried not to wake her. I changed into a pair of black jeans and a plain white shirt. I took out my black hoodie just in case. The weather has been chilly lately.

I pushed my wet hair from my face, picking my phone from the bed. I have a new message from Dante. He's my insider in the Italian mafia.

Dante- u guys better hurry up he wants to leave the house soon. I'll send someone to pick u up in twenty minutes.

I typed in a quick reply.

Me- alryt. See u soon.

I sent a quick text to Devin and Jade to get ready, then walked over to the bed to wake Jemma up.

"Wake up."

Jemma's POV

"Wake up," a voice said shaking me awake.

I slowly opened my eyes and a pair of blue ones were staring back at me. I squinted my eyes and reached out to rub them.

"Hey," I sat up.

"Hey," Jasper pecked my lips.

He was fully dressed in his signature black jeans with a plain white shirt and his hair was messy, water dripping from the strands. "You couldn't even wait for me," I joked and he laughed.

"I can always join you," he winks and I felt my cheeks heating up at his words.

I stood up from the bed and went straight to the bathroom. I took extra time to shower today, adding more shampoo than usual and spending a longer time with the water running down my body.

When I was done I wrapped a towel around my body and another round my head. My hair has grown longer in the past month and I made a mental note to cut it later.

Jasper was on the couch in the room, his phone pressed to his ears. I walked past him and put my bag on the bed.

I took out a pair of black ripped jeans and a plain white shirt and my Nike Air Force one. I turn to Jasper, "Can you not look while I dress?" I asked him making him drop his phone from his ears.

He rolled his eyes at me but stood up. I thought he was going to leave the room but he weng straight to his bag on the bed beside mine and started searching it. He pulled out a red hoodie and handed it to me.

I smiled at the gesture, "thanks." I pulled the hoodie to my chest.

He took the black hoodie on the bed, "I'll be in Devin's room when you're done." he kissed my forehead before walking out of the room.
