Amar POV

I spat out blood, choking up on it too much. Sadly, it didn't land on Johnathan or one of the two guys (whose names I still didn't know). My blood landed by Rick's (I think) feet. For some reason, Johnathan didn't think I had enough and told the guys to keep going.

"Sandoval." I rasped out. I had lost my voice screaming in pain and screaming at them to make it stop, but Johnathan just smirked and told them to go harder. "Is this enough? Are you," I paused to cough up more blood. Gosh, with all the blood I lost, I didn't think I had more to choke on. "Are you satisfied?"

He raised a hand to his chin and stroked an invisible beard, pretending to think about it. "Nah, I'm enjoying this too much."

"Don't you think she's had enough?" One of the buff guys, who had my blood on his knuckles, said. I think he was Noel but I wasn't sure. Everything was hazy and blurry. I was seeing three of everything.

One Johnathan is a nightmare, but three of them is just a horror show.

"Shut up, Noel!" He yelled. "I'm paying you to make her bleed!"

"I've bled," I stated, slowly raising my head to look at him but he kept his hard gaze on Noel and Rick.

"To make her cry!"

"Done a lot of that," I said honestly.

"To break her!"

"I think I've broken a couple bones," I said, without realizing he was advancing towards me.

He grabbed my bloody chin and forced me to look at him. A sick smirk played against his features. "Well, let's break some more." He roughly let go of my chin, making my head bang against the wall. Yep, I was definitely going to get a concussion.

Rick and Noel were just standing there, hesitating. I didn't know why. They were very eager to start and now they were hesitating?

"What are you waiting for?! Keep going!" He ordered them, snapping his fingers.

"No. Make it £500," Noel told him.

Oh, so that was why they hesitated. They just wanted more money. I actually thought they were feeling bad for me and would stand up for me. Ha! Wow, I was getting delusional.

"Okay, what's a hundred more-"

"Each," Rick said.

He sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Fine. £500 each. Now continue."

Noel and Rick nodded, satisfied with the result of their "negotiation". They turned around and continued. They took turns punching my stomach and kicking me. With every grunt I released, with every cry I released, with every spat of blood that I coughed up, Johnathan's smirk only grew and grew. He was a bloody psychopath, that's what he was. He got off on people's misery.

He stepped forward and made Noel and Rick part away. He was close enough for me to smell the strong cologne he was wearing but far away enough that if I spat any blood it wouldn't splatter all over his expensive shoes. "You're really rude, Janice, you know that?"

I raised my head up a bit, enough to see his arms crossed in front of him. "Yeah, in this situation where you paid two people to beat me, I'm definitely the rude one," I said with so much sarcasm that my blood wasn't the only thing that was dripping out of my mouth.

He chuckled bitterly. "Yeah, you have a point but still, you didn't answer my question. That's a bit rude if you ask me."

"Oh, I'm sorry. I must've forgotten the question after having my head banged against a wall!" I yelled but I'm sure it sounded more like a rasped whisper. "But don't worry, I'll certainly answer you if you ask the question again."
