Des' POV

I let Dinah walk in, as I waited right outside. I could only assume that she immediately faced multiple guns aimed at her head and or heart. I could hear as Alex walked into the room.

"Put your weapons away," He said. There was a pause before, "Ah, Dinah, I've been waiting for you. Where is he?"

I waited a second before walking in, a smile on my face as I saw Alex. He hadn't changed one bit since the last time I saw him. He was a couple of years older, growing a bit of facial hair, and he looked like utter shit, but other than that, he was still the same.

I held back a sick smile as I saw his jaw twitch. "Hello, Alex. You've grown up since the last time I saw you, given that you were at your mother's funeral." I couldn't hold it back anymore. I smiled. It was nice to see he still resented me. "It was a beautiful service by the way." I knew I touched a sensitive topic when he flinched back, refraining from probably punching me in the throat.

"Welcome back, Des." The words sounded forced.

I hummed in pleasure. "It's good to be back." I looked around, looking at Alex's equipment. "So, Dinah has told me that you have Ryan."

Alex nodded, stuffing his hands in his pockets. "Yeah, he's chained up right now. Alive, unfortunately."

I clapped my hands together. "Great. I'll find great pleasure in killing that son of a bitch, but after killing my son and his pesky little friends."

Dinah giggled next to me and loosely wrapped her arm around my arm. God, why is she so clingy? "Where are we going to stay?"

Alex cleared his throat and faced Dinah. "Ah, yes. I had Carson prepare your room. I hope it, uh, suits your needs."

Some boy, who I assumed was Carson, approached us and led Dinah away.

"I hope so, too," Dinah said gleefully, turning the corner and disappearing from my sight.

"She's going to cause unnecessary trouble." Alex sighed.

I rolled my eyes. "I'm not keeping Dinah. I'll get rid of her shortly after Ryan."

Alex solely nodded. "We have a lot of planning to do. Let's work in my office."

Harry's POV

"Block, dodge, face, body, block, dodge," I kept mumbling loud enough for Zayn to hear me.

My vision blurred; I only saw red. Soon, I stopped mumbling warnings, and my movements were now sudden and quick, barely letting Zayn get a hit in. My body was moving on its own; my mind somewhere else. My breaths were coming out fast and heavy, and Zayn's face and his body was a blur of movement. I knew I was losing it when Zayn's face slowly morphed into Des' face. I loosely felt the touch of the rubber mat, then followed by a warm hand.

The touch felt familiar; it was soft, and there was a faint feeling of a fast-beating heartbeat, and the hand was a bit sweaty, too. The touch did make my movement stutter but not stop completely. My actions stopped only when a warm breath covered my ear and breathed out one word.

 "Haz."

Louis' voice lured me out of the dark headspace. My vision was spotty for a few seconds, but I realised what had happened. My eyes widened. I was on top of Zayn, my fist hovering over his face, and my other hand pinning his arms over his head. I gasped, my movements stuttering as I got up. I held my hand out in front of Zayn, and he took it. I helped him up.

"I didn't hurt you too bad, right?" I asked, a bit of fear in my voice.

He shook his head and grinned. "Nah, you good, bro. I was quick to dodge almost all your hits. Training with you paid off."
