Louis' POV

"I've been alone for three years. I think I can manage." Amar said and yanked her arm out of Marcel's grip and walked out, holding onto the wall.

We were frozen in our spots, staring at the doors that she walked out of.

"What just happened?" Niall whispered, staring at us with tears streaming down those sky blue eyes. The look of sadness was different from his usual jovial mood. I extended an arm and he gladly shuffled into the little space and rested his head on my shoulder, sniffling.

"We screwed up," I answered Niall's question, my voice wavering.

"We screwed up big time," Marcel added, wiping the tears with his sleeve.

"Guys, what are we gonna do to make it up to her?" Zayn voiced the question that was lingering in the air. Liam was leaning his head on Zayn's shoulder, crying. Zayn had an arm around him and was softly rubbing circles on his arm. If it weren't a serious situation then I would tease them because they looked really adorable. "I mean, she was seriously hurt, and angry."

Liam raised his head from Zayn's shoulder. "We broke our promise and she got hurt. I don't know if there's anything that we could do that would make it better."

"She'll come around. She just needs time and space." I said, reassuring myself more than them. I didn't want to lose Amar. She was a great friend, listener, and exceptional tutor. She was just a great person in general.

"Yeah, she will," Marcel whispered, looking at the ground.

We stood there, in silence. We didn't know what to do, what to say, and we didn't feel right moving. Marcel broke the silence, though. He looked up and glanced at the door.

"I can figure out who did this."

"How? If you didn't notice, Amar wouldn't tell us and it could be anybody in the school." Zayn said, frustration evident in his voice.

"Don't worry about that." He stated. He wasn't crying anymore. His voice didn't hold any emotion and I didn't know if I was worried or scared.

I was going to ask him what he was talking about but the bell rung. I heard some shuffling behind me. I turned my head around and I could've sworn I saw some blond locks. When I turned back to Marcel, he was walking out the door. I was about to follow him but then I remembered Niall was still clinging to me.

"Are you okay?" I asked him.

He let go of me and nodded. "Yeah, I'm fine. Go. Make sure he doesn't do something stupid." He chuckled but I could tell it was fake. I gave him a tight smile and followed Marcel out.

Marcel's POV

I pushed the doors to the school and walked out. When I first saw Amar, crawling to get an aid kit, the first thing that popped into my head was that my father found me. I knew if he found me, he would go for the people I cared for first. Then Amar told us that this happened to her regularly. At first, I was sad that something so bad was happening to such a sweet girl. I knew from experience how bad it felt to get beaten to a pulp. It's not something Amar deserves. No one deserves it. Well, except the person who did this to her. After she left I got angry, really angry. As she walked out the door, I remembered something. I had placed a camera in here, I could find out who it was. Which brings us to me walking to my car. When I get home I could look at the surveillance and find the son of a bitch.

I was about to climb into my car when Louis ran up to me. When he reached me he rested a hand on his hip and held a finger up, giving him time to catch his breath. He looked cute with little pants escaping his parted his lips and fringe sticking to his forehead. He had his eyes squinted 'cause of the sun hitting him. He took off his snapback during lunch so now his hair was all out in the open. A couple of strands were messing about 'cause of the wind.
