im staying at hazels and ethels

im staying at hazels and ethels
for two weeks
you and your parents
come in to say hi
you help take my suitcase
to my room
and i start to unpack
when i notice
that my ink bottle
broke

you bring me papertowels
and im annoyed
because i want to be touching you
and instead im cleaning
ink

it stains my hands

you have to go
i hug you tight

i dont want you to go i say

its okay. ill see you tomorrow. well go out. get some food. relax.

you smile at me
and your eyes sparkles
hues of green

okay i say

as you walk away, i keep cleaning the ink out of my suitcase

i can hear your voice talking to hazel and ethels
and the goodbyes

i run to you
afraid your already gone

but i make it and
and im in your arms once again
you laugh

i love you you say

ill see you tomorrow

but when your gone my heart still aches
