when i tell people i am a virgin
i try to hide it
until my girl friends
start talking to me
about their sex lives
and ask for my opinion
and i have to tell them
i hate how they look at me
judgey eyes and pretend smile
like i am a little girl
who never learned
what its like in the real world
but i am not a little girl
i am a woman
