i wish the seas would part

i wish the seas would part
so that i could have room to breathe

because all the half familiar faces
are suffocating me

they look at me with expectation
that i have no room to fill

the overwhelming chatter
has no substance in the end

i run from their prying gazes
tears pouring from my eyes

the pressure of maintaining friendships
tempting me to say goodbye

i wish i had a filter
that would tell me to who i should say hi

then maybe id be able
to stay through the night

instead i make a home in a corner
hoping no one will notice me

-longing to be invisible, wanting to be seen

a/n: so this book has a lot of poems, and i found out wattpad only lets stories have 200 parts. we are reaching that soon. my question is would you guys like me to move all the chapters so that there is around 5 poems in each chapter and i could devide them with lines

or would you rather make a sequel? i don't really think i'll have this poetry book wrapped up enough for a sequel to fit it well, but idk... i just don't want this book to come to an abrupt halt. so any ideas???
