My Life and Other Sad Things

i had the most fun

i had the most fun
i have had in the longest time
when we were at the graduation party

we were playing boys versus girls
i was on the trampoline
with the girls
it had a huge net
that zipped shut

a giant play structure was right
next to the trampoline
where the boys were plotting
how to invade our castle

and all the guys were with
this little boy
who wanted to get into our space
as well

there was a giant flexible frisbee
and the theory was
if the little boy could
throw it into the trampoline
it would transport all the guys inside

and you
you helped the boy
throw the frisbey
into the net
and all the guys
came swarming in like banshee's

i of course
was relieved that our castle
was successfully invaded
and welcomed you back
in open arms

however, the girls weren't
nearly as relieved to be rejoined
with their night's in shining armor

then we started playing a game
of instant death
i hate sports
and it seemed very archaic

that frisbee was thrown
all across the trampoline
violently and dangerously

but i enjoyed hiding behind you
after all you are my night and shining armor
so there were obvious perks

and when you did say that snarky thing to me
it was fun to have an excuse to wack you with a huge flexible frisbee
i have a lot of pent up agression

it was my first kind of group date
and i would do it again
no matter how much that frisbee scared me
it couldn't take away the fun
