Chapter 58: Halo

-Harry's POV-

I wake up slowly. Trying to fight it off as usual. I throw my arm across the bed, expecting to find Ava and pull her to me, but her side of the bed is empty.

Sitting up, I wipe the sleep from my eyes, and look around the room.

"Ava." I call for her but get no response.

I hear the faint sound of a guitar coming from the other end of the flat. Looking over the edge of the bed, I see my guitar is missing from where I it set last night. I also see Ava's towel on the floor, making me smile as I remember last night.

It was bloody amazing.

I haul myself out of bed and quickly brush my teeth and take a piss before following the sound through the bedroom and past the kitchen. I peek into the living are to find Ava sitting on the couch cross legged with my guitar on her lap.

She doesn't notice me, so I stay hidden and listen to the melody she's playing. It's very simple, but I'm proud of her for already being able to play so well. Niall has only given her a few lessons thus far.

She starts singing very softly to herself, nodding her head every now and then.

"Got it." She stops and smiles to herself. God, she's cute.

She starts playing the melody again, with much more conviction this time. Watching her hands as she plays, she makes sure to hit the correct chords.

My heart warms at her words, knowing they are about me. It's amazing to hear her express in a song how she feels about me and how I've effected her. God knows she's changed my life completely.
