Chapter 24: seeing an old friend

"WHAT?! HOW!?!" BEN yelled in anger as he stared at the TV screen. "I told you don't get mad if i beat you." I said and giggled at BEN's little tantrum. "I think I'll leave you alone for now." I said as i made my way to my room. Once i was in my room i closed my door and felt arms snake around my waist. I smiled and leaned back slightly. "Whats wrong Jay?" I said and turned around. "I'm happy that we're home but *sigh* something isn't right." Jay said and nuzzled his head into my neck, i put my arms around his neck and hugged him. "What do you mean, something isn't right?" I asked and rested my head on his shoulder. "It's just, something feels off. Like we're being watched." Jay whispered and hugged me tighter. I mentality sighed and looked around the room. Jay was usually right when it came to stuff like this.

"If someone is watching us i want you all to be on guard. I'll go back to Karen's house and get my grandmother's old spell book." I said and broke the hug, he nodded his head and kissed me on the head. "Be careful." Jay said and vanished into thin air, I looked out my window into the forest and felt a pain in my chest. "Stop it, we'll get them soon." I thought to myself as i turned away from the window and pulled out my phone to check the time, it was 12:48p.m. I sighed and went over to my closet, i opened my closet doors and pressed a button that was on the wall beside my closet. After a couple of seconds glass canisters full of all my old wepons were placed in front of me.
