It's been one hour. I've been staring at a sleeping Kek for one hour. The way he was clenching on my shirt with one of his hands as if he was scared I would leave, the way he was sucking the thumb of his free hand. In a way, I would miss that. I sighed and, slowly, I unclenched his hand which was still holding my shirt and put it gently on his stomach, making sure not to hurt his stitches. When I was sure he hadn't woken up, I got up and dressed myself with the first clothes I found.

Once I was fully ready, I carefully took Kek in my arms, making sure not to wake him up and walked out of the apartment. He unconsciously put his head on my shoulder and his hands around my neck. I looked at him a few seconds, sadness and nostalgia in my eyes; I was going to miss him a lot.

I opened the passenger's door and put Kek on the seat. Once I was sure the belt was on, I closed the door and went on the other side. I looked at the sleeping guy next to me, even if I knew I was doing the right thing, I couldn't help but feel guilty. Kek was sleeping, his head against the window and a thumb still in his mouth. He looked so innocent and adorable, I couldn't help but smile.

I sighed and began to drive. At this hour of the night, the road was almost empty, except for a few cars time to time. In less than one hour, we were in front of the hospital. It was a tall, grey building and, because of the dark night, it could almost look like a building from a horror movie. I parked my car and stepped out of it, closing the door behind me before walking toward the other side and opening the door to take Kek in my arms. He didn't even wake up when I removed his belt and took him in my arms. He moved closer to me, certainly from the cold air of the night.

I walked toward the building, seeing a small light inside, not too far from the front door. Relieved that the best psychiatrist of the hospital took my messages seriously, I entered without knocking. As soon as the psychiatrist saw me, he went toward me and made a small sign with his head to say 'hello' as it was almost impossible for me to shake his hand.

He began to walk into another room, mentioning me to follow him. The psychiatrist was a tall, slim man, yet strong enough to handle patients. He had a skinny head, small dark eyes, a big nose and small lips. He was balding but had some greyish hair on the top of his head. This whole place was strange and dark, not really reassuring at this hour of the night...

We were now in a small, almost empty, room. There was only a single bed in the left corner. I walked toward the bed and placed him on it delicately. As soon as his head touched the cold, white pillow, he began to struggle a little before opening his eyes. He blinked a few times, a frown slowly appearing on his cute little face. His eyes widened in realization when he saw the psychiatrist and his eyes began to fill with tears. "You promised...." He whispered as a lonely tear made its way down his cheek.
