LANDON

I have to figure something out with Anna and quick. There's just so much involved in everything with her in the mix that is complicating things.

I don't mean that in a bad way as of SHE'S the one in general making things complicated because it isn't her it's just, how do you tell someone first of all that your friends are werewolves and that you're mates with their Alpha? Not to mention throwing in the mix of having to show her around London in the meantime while rogues could take the chance in snatching her and turning her into one of them or far worse.

The last thing I need for her to think is that we're like those rogues and compare us to those movies American Werewolf in Paris or something like that, although I couldn't blame her really since she is a human and all.

I finally stop thinking about her for a moment and snap back to the present to focus on what we're all doing here at the training field with my whole pack.

Everyone surrounds me in a circle with their arms crossed across their chest as they watch and wait for me to say something.

"You all know why you're all here! As most if not all of you already know by now that both my parents have left to take care of my aunt Renai." I stop and notice Elliot, Giselle, Rockwell and Kavina look at me in shock.

"Is she okay?" One of the Omega's in my pack asks.

"They aren't sure yet. In the meantime, we have more precautions we need to take. For one, we have to double up on the perimeters and not go out past eleven since it is around that time until dawn that the severe attacks have been made. We have to be sure we are on high alert at all times and continue not to bring a lot of attention to ourselves at the same time." I began to remind them.

"Yes Alpha." Everyone says in unison.

"Good then everyone can go back to doing their jobs and we will meet up Monday of next week and hopefully by then I will have some more information on the new breed." I announce.

Everyone bows in agreement and then begins to leave in different directions as me, Elliot, Rockwell, Giselle and Kavina remain standing there in the middle of the field.

"Is aunt Renai gonna be okay?" Kavina asks worried.

"I don't know. I hope so." I tell her.

"We're really sorry." Elliot says.

"It's okay. Shit happens and I'm just trying not to think about it a whole lot. But at least now you guys know why I am acting more protective. I know I should have told you about the new breed of rogues but, my dad and I just have been trying to keep them contained and keep from others of being afraid." I tell them.

"Well when did you find out about aunt Renai?" Giselle asks me.

"Just the other day before my parents left. And something else...." I began and then stopped myself to see if I should even bring this up and tell them.

"What is it?" Elliot asks concerned.

"This is gonna sound crazy but Anna is my mate." I mumble the last part under my breath.

"What?" They ask me.

I take in a deep breath and let it out before answering.

"Anna is my mate." I tell them.

I wait to see how their reaction will be and see if rather or not they will be happy, upset or anything but disappointed. Then again, I could be over thinking things seeing as to how she's their best friend. Their silence though is driving me nuts.

Then I hear them all start to smile and act excited.

"Thank god." Elliot says sounding relieved.

"Wait, what?" I ask them.

"We are so happy to hear that." Kavina says.

"You are? Even though she's a human and this could put all of us at more risk?" I ask.

"You mean make us more of a threat?!" Giselle suggests. "Half human and half werewolf, well once you turn her of course, she will have the gifts of both and with some of your Alpha abilities in her, we could become unstoppable." She says.

"Not that we aren't already." Rockwell chimes in.

"True." I laugh. "Well, I'm glad you're all taking this as good as you are."

"Why wouldn't we? We love her and besides, you'd be a way better guy than her last boyfriend. Not to mention the fact that you seem to bring out all the true confident person she is." Giselle says.

That makes me smile to know that I give her that. She should be confident anyways but it's nice to know I bring out good in her already. Maybe this won't be all too bad. Well, except for the fact I need to just figure out in how to tell her what we are and then soon after about her being my mate. Maybe I shouldn't get too cocky!?!?
