"Here again is a wrap up, John Lennon he was 40, one of the best accounts we've gotten so far is from a New York policeman. Officer Miller and we're going to let you hear, kind of, what he has to say about the whole thing." The radio announcer, for the station broadcasted grimly.

"At approximately 10:30 this evening, John Lennon and his wife exited either a car or a taxicab and walked into the Dakota Hotel where they live. They were followed in by at least one youth, who opened fire on him and shot him several times. The police responded to the scene as quickly as possible. One man was arrested and John Lennon was taken to the hospital. And later on I found out he was pronounced dead. So the way it stands, they have one in custody, and John Lennon is dead at this time." The official reported.

"Have you heard of any motive at all?" The announcer asked him.

"I'm negative, so I have no idea. No radio claim, no negative, no idea why." The official claimed.

And again there were 7 shots fired, and like he said. The police do have a suspect, described as a local crazy, what else could he be? He's a male in his 30s or his 40s. And no motive whatsoever as to why this happened at all. John, they say, was conscious when they took him to the hospital, but Dr. Stephen Lynn pronounced him dead upon arrival. Saying that absolutely nothing could be done to save him at that point." The announcer claimed. "There was a significant injury of the major vessels inside the chest which caused a massive amount of blood loss. Which probably resulted in his death."

"Why?!" I screamed chucking my pillow at the wall.

"(Y/n). Stop" Paul tried grabbing my wrist. He missed and I turned away tears spilling. I chucked more pillows at the wall. "(Y/n)." He sighed. "Doing this isn't going to help."  I ripped the bedspread off the bed. Screaming I fell onto the floor with the comforter spread around me. I gripped the blanket in my hand and sat face down in the comforter crying. Paul sunk down next to me rubbing my back. I turned to look up at him. His face was red and his brown eyes were puffy and bloodshot. Tears soaked my collar and nose was runny.

"He's gone" I cried. I laid back into the covers on the floor. My brother was dead. He always talked about having grandchildren. He was so exited for 1984. The tears spilled into my ears. Paul laid next to me. He held my hand. I started to sob again. I was shaking. I gripped Paul's hand, squeezing it tighter and tighter. He eventually opened his hand. I realized what I had been doing. I released his hand and he intertwined fingers. He pulled me into him and I soaked his shirt. We laced there and cried for what seemed like eternity. We hugged each other close. "Don't ever leave this earth without me. You here?"

"I won't leave without you" he mumbled into my hair.
