You don't mean anything to them.

You'll never be friends with them.

They don't even like you.

What is so special about you

Why did I even bother opening anonymous letter to me anymore? All I get are letters from outraged fan girls, pissed off that I got into the Beatles' inner circle.

I grabbed the kettle off the stove and poured tea for myself and Paul. I folded the latest letter up and held it under my arm. "Hey Paul, sorry about the delay." I said handing him his teacup. I stretched my arm out to hand it to him, and the note fell from under my arm.

"No Problem (Y/N)." He said. His eyes moving from me, to the cup, to the letter fluttering towards the ground. "What on earth is that?" He asked me reaching out for the letter before I could stop him. He opened it and started to read the hurtful message left for me. "(Y/N) what is this?"

"It's nothing" I tried to assure him as I attempted to avoid eye contact.

"This isn't nothing, this is serious." He said sternly. "Is this the first letter you've gotten?" He asked me.

"No this is not the first one." I whispered as I looked down.

"Well how many have there been?" He asked me. I stayed silent. How should I know? I stopped keeping track after the second week of it.

"There's also been phone calls. I don't really answer them anymore."

"So you sit and listen to that shit?" He asked me. "Why don't you just hang up?"

"I don't know." I told him. "They could be right?"

"(Y/N) you mean more than the world to the whole band." He assured me.

As if on cue the phone rang. "Hello?" I answered. A voice in the other end made my face fall. Paul leaned over and put his ear on the other side of the phone, eavesdropping in. The girl was just blabbering on and on about how Paul hatted me, and that he told her himself. With that Paul grabbed the phone out of my hand.

"This is Paul McCartney. And you listen to me. There is no way in hell I ever talked to you about such things. If you truly believe that you will ever exceed (Y/N) (L/N) by any amount, you are sadly mistaken." He scolded. He practically slammed the phone down on the receiver. "What a rude girl." He shook his head.

"Thank you Paul." I said as a tear slid down my cheek. "That meant the world to me."

"Anything for the girl I love." He said, leaning forward and planting his lips on mine.

I smiled. "Wow, I love you too."
