"I can't really beat you!" Ariellè complained for the nth time. She looked so frustrated right now as she mumbled the word 'dirty-game'. I was just laughing at her little desperate accusation of me because it was obviously a wrong one. She was too cute as she groaned and cried for her losses. I didn't know why I kept on winning, maybe this moment was under my terms.

"One last round and we'll watch a movie." I announced while she was busy distributing the cards.

Her face was already caked with thick layer of powder and she was scrunching her nose every five seconds. I couldn't help but to drawn to my own abyss of fantasies about her. She was so beautiful that I couldn't relax myself. Her graceful movement imbued all the peaks and corners of my entity. Her hair was made in messy bun now. Some wisps were dangling carelessly in front of her face. The wisps were making her more enticingly mesmerizing. If I were to tell about my admiration towards her, would she accept it? Or will she stay away from me because she didn't want to be with a man who was a bizarre condition. I didn't want to have a prosaic days again. The idea of not seeing Ariellè every day nudged the sensitive part of my feelings. It hurt me.

To pacify my suddenly ruptured bubble of calmness and contentment, I just darted my eyes on her. She wasn't looking at me even after she distributed the Uno cards. She was so focused on what she was doing and I felt the looming admiration within me. She was indeed a woman with different caliber. I was before fed up with dramas of women— that stunt was stale and it didn't give any feelings of sympathy. Maybe that was one of the reasons why I liked Ariellè irrevocably.

While I was spreading the cards on my hand, I couldn't help but to wander on my train of thoughts. The contribution of the sun's shaft in the room was beginning to fade as the shadows started to stretched in. The bar of sunlight that assaulting the table awhile was now on the floor near the window. Time flied so fast that it seemed to become imperceptible. This was what I observed before. When I was with her, time was neglected. All I wanted was to have fun and to laugh with her.

"+4," I uttered as I plunged the cards with +4 sign.

She groaned, "Why do you have lots of plus? Do you have a trick on this game, don't you?"

She even squinted. This woman!

"You were the one who shuffled it,"

She rolled her eyes, "I am just trying to save my ass off. It's more acceptable to know that your rival has tricked you than to loss in straight ten rounds!"

I let out a brawling laughter, "Damn, girl!"

After our Uno game, we watched episodic show entitled: Lucifer. She liked it very well and she sometimes grumbling how handsome Lucifer was. The movie was fantastic, it somehow broke the stigma about Lucifer of the many. I looked at her, she was intently looking on my laptop while the movie was playing. The view of her beside me made me lose in my own chasm of thoughts. I couldn't even know what was happening in the movie because my eyes were fixated on her. Then in a sudden, she was belligerent due to the entering of the new character named Eve— Eve of Adan— that she, we, assumed that Lucifer's first love however, as the movie goes on, Lucifered cleared that he had never been in love with Eve and it was Detective Chloe who he was in love with.

We spent hours watching movies. I didn't know why watching movie nudged my interest and did not pull me to the abyss of boredom. Or maybe it wasn't about the movie's engrossing plot twist but because of the person I was with. It was cheesy thought but I couldn't help it. The presence of Ariellè can inject a high dosage of euphoria in me. We stopped watching when her stomach growled like a thunder after bolting of lightning. She checked me and when she saw my suppressed grin painted on my face, she murmured a curse to herself and winced.
