Ember POV:

She awoke from slumber. Like a Banshee, screaming as if the words had flourished into nothingness. The scream was so loud that even people from miles away could be able to hear it. A pure shrill in the night.

Inevitably it woke us up as we were in that tight cramped house. Yet to be honest we're used to sharing rooms.

You might be thinking. If Carol is so rich why doesn't she just buy us a house, where we can have our own room.
And the answer is- She's a tight bitch.

Lexi was cowering in the corner. If the scream was so loud that we heard it, Imagine how it was for her. She was sleeping right next to Jess.

She jerked her head towards Jess, who wasn't doing anything. She was as a statue. Completely frozen and her eyes were open.

"Is she- you know?" Said Lexi hesitantly.
Stiles slapped her arm.

"Shut up! You know that's not possible in this Earth- well I don't know but- JUST SHUT UP!" Yelled Stiles.

He tilted his head and he had the most concerned face to man. His mouth had dropped along with his eyebrows.
"What's going on Ember? She's not doing anything. She's just stuck."

Stiles grabbed Jess' hand. "Please sister. Wake up."

Stiles and Jess, they were close. Closer than me and Kai. Closer than Lexi and-

"Alright- uhm." I stuttered nervously. "Carol!- Carol. We need Carol."

"She's not here." Whispered Lexi, who was pushed against the side of the wall. I think she distanced herself because she was scared of seeing Jess like that.

"Alright. Alright-it must have something to with Jess, psychologically then." I guessed.

"How the hell do you know Ember?" Asked Kai, aggressively.

"I don't- know." I said. Truth is I didn't
I looked at Jess. Amongst her widen eyes. I tried to look for my sister. I could see almost glimpses of her tracing beneath those white rocks. "She's alive."

"She is?" Whimpered Stiles, muffling up a cry.

"Yeah buddy." I exhaled. "She is. Her eyes twiched. She's probably like stuck or something."

"Stuck in what- A dream?" Questioned Lexi.

"Holy crap. You're right Alexa." Said Kai, who by saying her name like that, made Lexi twitch.
"She's in like some sort of coma, like from the TV shows."

"Then how do we get her out?" Asked Stiles loudly at me. His hands gripped both of my elbows.

"The nervous system is composed-of neurones, yet it specifically has to do with electrical impulses." Lexi chimed in.

"Yeah- so what does that mean?" Asked Stiles.

"It means that electric should be able to help. I should be able to help her." Declared Lexi.
"If I just shoot a bolt of electricity into her. She should just wake up- I think."

"Hold up. You're thinking of blasting- our SISTER?" Yelled Kai with a tone that alludes to 'are you fucking serious?'

"Yes. I know I can do it. Jess was whispering to me before she went to sleep- well technically not to me but to her self." Lexi giggled at that part, but after coming to realisation she swiftly became sad. "It was about how we can intercept those marker dreams via electricity. She was going to tell you guys in the morning but-"
