"No that's not what I meant. Do you think-"
"Yep"
"Will you quit that. I'm trying to ask you something"

"Thank you"
"Your welcome"
"Ugh! Now I forgot what I was going to say!"

3rd person's POV:
You were going to tell steve that you liked him. Being the clueless pupoy he was, he didn't get all the clues you showed him.

Clues such as, always going with him on his morning run even if you hated running, buying him flowers, comforting him when he misses bucky, and cuddling with him.

So now you were going to man up and say it. You sat beside him while he was watching t.v. in the living room.

"Do you think-"you start but he cuts you off

"All the time....I'm a good thinker you know"he smiles looking at the t.v. still

You look at him weirdly. Does that mean he likes you back or...?

You shook your head and continued

"No that's not what I meant. Do you think-"and again, he cuts you off

"Yep"he says popping the 'p' sound.

You glare at him. He's doing it on purpose.

"Will you quit that I'm trying to ask you something"you tell him

"Ask away"he looks at you. You ignored the butterflies in your stomach when your eyes met his baby blue ones.

"Thank you"you say

"Your welcome"he says

You were about to tell him but there was a teensy weensy small problem.

"Ugh! Now I forgot what I was going to say!!"you grumbled.

He laughed at you.

"I'm sure you'll remember it later doll"he stands up and ruffles your hair and you pout.

"My hair!!"you say and tried to fix it as he kept ruffling it everytime you fixed it.

"Your hair is still yours"steve says and laughs as he goes in the counter to get something.

You followed him and saw that he was going to make a sandwich.

"Want one?"he asks you and you nod.

While waiting you tried to remember what you were going to tell him.

What was it again?

Ughhhhhh

Why do I forget everything??

You were so deep in thought that you didn't hear steve calling for your name saying that the sandwich was ready.

And then it hit you right when he hands the sandwich in front of you, startling you.

"I LIKE YOU!!"you practically screamed.

You covered your mouth at this.

He looks at you, wide-eyed and just as shocked as you are.

"Y-you...you what?"he asks you

"I-I umm.....uhh"you stutter.

Your confidence suddenly goes down the drain.

"Oh for thor's sake. SHE LIKES YOU CAPSICLE"a tony eating popcorn says, well shrieked in steve's and your ears.

"How long have you been there?"you ask tony

"Long enough. F.R.I.D.A.Y. Tell me you got that on camera"he smirks

"Yes sir"the A.I says

"Ugh"you groan and walked out

This isn't what you had in mind but atleast steve knows. Right?
