The party went on. It was more fun than the last house party I've been to. Presumably because the sex came first so I have all the reasons to enjoy the rest of the night with a horny Adam Payne breathing down my neck.

It was a chilly kind of night and I kind of forget my coat in a hurry to get out of my unit. My dress didn't do much to keep me warm, but the drinks did. I had champagne, tequila, vodka and loads of alcohol I don't get to remember the names. I went on the dance floor and tried dancing with Zeke who invited me. He turns out to be a very polite guy and he didn't try harassing or seducing me but he told me that my transformation was something that he liked.

"I just don't get it why girls wear so much make up in school." he says, apparently annoyed as she gave his plastic cup a slight swirl. "We're in a state university, not a make-up school."

I laughed at his comment just as Carly bumped into me, pretending not to see me. I landed on Zeke's chest which smelled of his expensive cologne. Georgina, who was a few feet away that time, shoved her a bit too hard that he landed face first on Clay Corbett's arm. The blonde glared at Georgina who shrugged and continued dancing. When Carly and her cronies disappeared, Georgina gave me a wink.

"Are you okay?" Zeke asked, looking amused.

"Yeah." I breathed, getting another red plastic cup off the tray of some random guy carrying drinks. I took a sip, trying to figure out what alcohol I am drinking. It tastes like pineapple juice. Really? No offense, but who would made something that tastes like pineapple juice?

"I just don't get why she's trying to be a bitch all the time."

This time, it was Zeke's turn to laugh.

"I should probably find somewhere to sit." I told him, changing the subject. "All the dancing and alcohol are making me dizzy."

"Sure." he said in a charming way and I stomped on my heels.

I went into this mini bar I've been keeping an eye all evening. The bartender was a cute mousy haired guy with loads of freckles and a crooked nose. He gave me an equally crooked smile when I sat down on what of the stools.

"What can I get you?" he asked politely and as I stared at him, I wondered how cute he was when he smiles. I mean, he was cute but he was a thousand time cuter when he smiles. His face kinds of lit up giving an exuberant kind of vibes to the small place.

"Uh, anything with alcohol?" I replied, looking at the boxes of expensive wines at the shelves behind him. Now I sound like an alcoholic. I don't really drink often so I'm not familiar with the names of the drinks I should get in a bar or a mini bar. "Just. Anything for me?"

"Of course." he answered and before he turned his back on me, I quickly scanned his nameplate. Casey, it says. Well, he was cute as his name was. I smiled to myself, crossing my legs in a pathetic attempt to warm myself. I twisted slightly in my seat, watching the people around me, dancing merrily to the music, not giving a damn in the world.

Mische invited most of the popular and rich students at school. Some of them, I didn't even know. Maybe they were from another school or something.

"Allison?" someone says and I thought for once that it was Casey the bartender who slid me a pale pink drink that looked like pink mist in a cocktail glass. Turns out, it was that person I've been dreading to see for the rest my life. It was Bradley. Just fucking Bradley. I can't believe he was here at Mische's party! Of all the people!

"What are you doing here?" I deadpanned, wanting to turn around and leave but I stayed nonetheless. I'm not going to walkout and let him think that he still has that hold on me. He made a choice and it was fucking over. Forever.

"Just seeing that a friend can safely go back home." he said and I don't want to listen to him. His mouth was full of bullshits and so for all I know, he could still be. I managed a stiff nod to show that the conversation was over. I averted my gaze and turned to look at my cocktail. Are all lady's drink supposed to be pink?

"Allison, I just want to-"

Clearly the conversation isn't over. For him.

"No, Brad." I stopped him before I could even punch his still beautiful face. He looked at me remorsefully like he was a kid asking for forgiveness because he stole some cookies from the jar but no, it wasn't that simple.

When I was in middle school, stupid as I was, I saw Brad as my prince charming. He was not the star player or the smartest kid in class, just the boy next door kind of guy. I haven't really noticed him since there were a lot of cute guys around the neighborhood.

Mischa, on the other hand, was always busy snogging the first guy she touched. It wasn't a big deal for me if my she snogged all those guys in school because partly, that gives me a bit of freedom. Freedom to go home immediately after school without her dragging me to the mall to try out clothes or to escape Friday movie date nights with her.

Bradley, however came into the picture and there was no Mischa Campbell to tell me if the guy was an asshole or a dork or something. He became my seatmate in math class and eventually my partner. After school, he'd ask me to come over to his place so we can do our Algebra assignments together and since I wasn't very good at math, I let him tutor me and that led into something deeper.

We became inseparable until New Years' Eve when he came over to my place asking me if I want to come to this sacred place that nobody knew. He brought me in a mesmerizing place - sort of a mini rain forest along the highway. It was like the center of the big forest in the outskirts of Colton where I grew up. We shared our first real kiss officially starting our relationship or whatever it was that constitutes your first kiss.

At first it went smoothly just like any relationships was. He would see me, kiss me in between classes, hold my hand during breaktimes and there's a lot of kissing involved but we never really got in bed. I wasn't really thinking about it those times I was with him because I wanted to clear things up between the two of us. What are we? Friends? A couple? Whenever I would ask him what we really were, he would just shrug and kiss me.

Until Mische had gotten tired of his boy snogging sessions that I finally learned the truth. That he was screwing loads of other girls behind my back. Some of them belongs to Mische's inner circle of friends whom I didn't really know. Some were from other school and some were college girls he had tricked.

I was inconsolable. Mische lied to my parents about how we were going to do a history class project, sleeping on our house and hugging me all night just to make me feel better. As I lay in my bed with her arms around me, I can't help but felt used and betrayed and as I looked into her beautiful face then I realized that men were only after one thing: Sex. And that when girls give them free passes for it, they will grow tired of that same person doing the same thing with their dicks. Everything will start to fizzle and eventually, men will leave in search for another conquest, a new adventure he can brag to his friends.

The next morning, I slapped Bradley hard in the face. He looked at me wide-eyed like I just turned into a monster. He didn't do anything. Never said anything. He just walked out and I never saw him since. He even got a new Chemistry Lab partner and I never said anything. Mische let me cry, skipping her classes just for me.
