Allison

I was surprised to see a silver Lamborghini park just right outside Queensland Condominium. It was definitely brand new, sleek and shining in sexy silver that I want to rush inside and drive all the way around Portland. It was, truth to be told, the exciting part of my day.

I controlled the urge to whoop with joy. I should definitely ask my parents for something like this. Jamie's using my car now and it's hard to take the bus every morning that I had to wake up thirty minutes before my usual just so I can get in the bus stop on the right time. I could use something like a Lamborghini to school but I wouldn't mind a Porsche. It would be better than my old Honda.

Mische gave me a brief peck on the cheek before motioning me to take my rightful place inside her wheels.

"Have fun, Ally!" she shrieked, waving her perfectly-manicured fingernails.

At nine thirty, I sped away, my heart pounding, the thirty-minute head start making me feel energized as I had been this whole day. I should probably head somewhere else. I'm sure Nate wouldn't mind seeing me a bit late. Yes, well.. where should I start? The night's still young.

I've never imagined Johnson City to be amazing especially at night or maybe it was the whole Lamborghini driving experience that made me see this city in a whole new perspective. Loads of people were outside, enjoying the night. Some were loitering around with lattes in their hands. I passed by a group of skaters, teasing and laughing as they shoved each other playfully.

I turned right at Happy Valley Park and sped through the wide concrete road to Smarty's Milkshake. Its been ages since I had my favorite cereal milkshake. I pulled over and parked the car next to a row of establishments and entered Shirts-To-Go. It's one of my favorite places in Johnson City that I never felt like telling anybody. Anyway, Shirts-To-Go specializes in printed shirts where in one can customize their designs, they could get in twenty to thirty minutes.

The wind chimes rang as I entered the shop which smelled like paint and fabric combined. I looked around and saw a couple of designs hanging on the wall. Sometimes, they put those stuffs for sale but mostly they were for display purposes only.

"Hi, can I help you with something?" asked a pretty brown eyes girl, approximately about the same age as me.

"Um, I just want that black shirt with Madonna's face." I said politely. "Is that for sale?"

"Yep." the girl replied enthusiastically, getting the shirt with a 6 feet pole with hook attached to the end. She handed it to me. "The fitting area is right there." she added, pointing towards the far end of the store.

I mumbled thanks and padded my way towards the fitting room which wasn't exactly a room but a vacant spot covered in black curtains. I took off the floral corset top and changed into the Madonna printed black shirt, folding the sleeves twice before heaving its hem to show my mid-riffs. I had my belly piercing when I was in Grade 12. Mische didn't know about it of course, it was an experimental kind of thing to do so I'm not really a virgin prude or whatever. I tied the shirt at the back and looked into the mirror. Now I looked like a rockstar chic. Not a class A hooker.

I gathered the floral top and paid for the shirt. I went over to Smarty's to get a milkshake before heading to Retaliations to get the night over with.

Nate was waiting for me just outside the bar, looking incredibly handsome in a black leather jacket underneath a white cotton shirt. He wore faded jeans ripped on the knee area and a pair of white chucks. I resist the urge to never find Seth and just gape at Nate the whole night instead.

"Allison." he said with a pleasant smile that took my breathe away. He held out an arm. I smiled and took it. "I take it you'll be my date tonight. Small world huh?"

"Yes." I said, nodding slightly. "It was like one moment you were asking me for directions and now, we were getting a little chummy don't you think?"

"You're dating my brother, aren't you?" he asked and I was taken aback by his question. "Mische told me."

Well, that most certainly ruined the evening. Am I dating his brother? I'd love to think not. We had sex but that doesn't sound like dating, right? Dating was more like hanging out together, going on dates and not just barging into my house for sex.

I would love to strangle Mische for ruining my evening. It's just.. every one of us are damsel-in-distress looking for our knight-in-shining armor since our mothers read about happily ever afters. I must admit, I thought Bradley Connor was my fairytale. He was actually, but not a fairy tale come true. I want a fairy tale come true. And come on, I would just like to point out that those friends with benefits kind of relationship seldom leads to romance. I want to meet a guy and go through the phases of liking someone.

"We're not exactly exclusive." I blurted out, avoiding his gaze. It was the truth but it felt like I was stabbing Adam behind his back.

Nate started towards the double doors guarded by two huge bouncers in black shirt. They eyed the both of us with such scrutiny, I felt like a small bug being studied under the microscope. They both ask for ID's and I gave them mine.

"You're saying you and my brother weren't exclusive." he half shouted and I nodded.

Retaliation bar was enormous. It was twice the size of Vengeance. It was filled with so much noise, with the DJ up on the elevated platform, headphones in his ear, a bottle of beer on one hand, trying another remix. The crowd was wilder in here. The lights kept blinking and swirling. Girls wearing skimpy, shiny dresses were talking animatedly to guys, beers in hand.

"Yes." I answered, half-shouting.

Somebody handed me an opened bottle of beer. I accepted it but never took a drink. It can be poisoned or laced with drugs that'll make me sleep. Not that anyone would do that to me but its a party. Everyone can do whatever they want to, like those guys smoking something in a thin piece of foil. Weeds, cocaine, shabu.. could be one of those. I shook my head in disgust and scrunched up my nose as I tried to squeezed myself amongst the dancing crowd of sweating and icky bodies. I need to find Seth or Bonnie but it's hard to spot a red-headed woman, especially when the lights kept on blinking.

"We should dance." he said.

"What?!" I asked distractedly, whipping my hair from side to side looking for the reason I was there. "I um, don't dance." I added, leaning against the wall, bobbing my head up and down slightly to look like I was enjoying myself.

Nate whipped to face me, cornering me in his arms, our faces inches from each other. I mighy have stopped breathing that time as I looked into his eyes. I can't make out tgeir color but I think they're jade.

"Come on." he pressed on. "Just one dance."

He was smiling like sunshine again and I can't help but smiled back. He touched my bare hips with his hands and my body immediately went on fire. Good thing it was bit dim or he would have seen me blushing.

We headed into the center of the bar and squeezed ourselves in between people.in The feeling of his hands on my hips gave me some kind of safety. Like I was safe with him. I sighed. I shouldn't feel this way about Nate. I was still dating his brother, exclusive or not.

He began to move, his hands still on my hips. The DJ had changed the music and the buzzing noise of all the people - drunk or sober, around us rang through my ears. I began to bobbed my head up and down again like I was a groupie for some rockband. Nate kept dancing but he never released me. One arm encircling my hips, the other on my neck. He was moving slowly, sexily, wrapping his body around mine. I never felt so sexy that time. He touched me and looked at me like I was the only woman that mattered.

It was pole dancing with a human pole.

"You should seriously start considering going out with me." he whispered.
