Chapter 34: THE END

Classes had resumed and in one-week time, midterms would be coming. Everybody was cramming, trying to fit in extra-curricular activities with academics. Meanwhile, I was slowly getting back to my old me except that there's Adam who constantly send me text messages and facebook messages. He had given me time to myself, letting me study and dropping by my place to ask me out for dinner and we haven't had sex since that night of their victory party.

He was nice, even nicer than I thought he would be. He was busy but he made it a point to give me time even if I didn't ask for it. Everybody knows we're exclusive. Mischa and Margaux never stopped grilling me until I shouted at them to shut up because I need to finish my notes. I never got the chance to ask Mischa about Seth though. I'd really love to hear what she has to say about the animal intestines inside his Mazda.

Carly and Renee gave me dirty looks everytime we bumped into each other but they didn't bother me. Georgina and Zeke gave me high fives and a bear hug in which Adam had to intervened when the latter seemed to be enjoying his little hugging session with me.

There's a lot of things I never knew about him. Like he snorts when he laughs and that he's a jealous guy despite his good-looks and talent in soccer.

At first, I wasn't happy about it. People were whispering to each other, telling me how plain I looked or commenting about the way I dress. I don't even know if I'm happy going out with him. I like Adam but I can't say that I love him although he told me he was inlove with me.

Some nights, I was thinking if we were just made for just sex or if we were meant to be together. I thought about how Bradley had cheated on me, asking for another chance which I had difficulty giving. Maybe I built an invincible wall around me after that. I don't want to be a pathetic dork crying over a boy who cheated on him. Maybe I should try opening myself to Adam, for example because he was really nice.

"Ally." It was Simon. Yes, the very Simon Prentice I used to have a crush on.

We were sitting in French class that time. Margaux was absent. She said she was throwing up sea slugs and ended the call abruptly saying she was about to throw another batch. The thing about Simon was that, he never talked to me whenever Margaux was around. I don't know why. It's just...maybe he was shy since Margaux was a loud-mouthed type of person, broadcasting everything that's been going on within five feet radius.

"Hey." I said pleasantly.

"Hey." he breathed and said nothing back. It was weird, I mean, he was weird.

I wasn't surprised to see Adam after class. They've won the Nationals, and since midterms were coming, practice will resume after two weeks. He always grumbles about it.

"Hey." he greeted with his cute smile. His hair was pulled on a loose bun which I think was sexy. He gathered the books in my arms and walked me to the locker rooms, pushing through the crowd of students, breaking in between chatting students with me in tow. "Are you up for some lovey dovey tonight?"

I opened my locker and took the books in his arms, arranging them in a way that I could easily see their titles.

"I have to study for French." I said seriously, trying hard not to laugh. I picked the last book from his arm and shut my locker before facing him. He looked absolutely hurt and I couldn't help but laughed. His expression changed. Now he looked annoyed.

"Of course, I'm ready. Your place?"

He nodded kissing me lightly on the lips. My hands went to his nape pulling him for a five minute make out session in the locker rooms with everyone watching. I don't care. I just want him to feel what I feel - Love and intense primal lust.
