Nate joined a beer keg stand earlier and happily bounced towards me, enveloping me in a warm hug as he beat a bulky guy named David for having the record of the longest beer keg stand in Oregon. His shirt was soaked in beer and he smelled like beer. He took off his shirt and waved it around everyone while the girls shouted and cheered. I shook my head as he walked towards me.

"How do you like me topless?" he asked, smiling widely. I laughed at him.

One thing I can tell you about Nathaniel Payne was that, he's like sunshine. First, he was a pleasant guy with a smile that'll puts anyone at ease. Second, he reminds me of Ryan Gosling in the Notebook. Third, he was sexy. Broad chest, toned arms, six pack abs that I had the urge to ran my tongue through. His jeans hang low on his hips and it was so sexy, I want him to stay like that forever.

"I like my guy more when girls don't feast on him." I said with a laugh.

As the night slowly dragged, I stayed seated on a high stool with my purse atop a shiny round table. I kept on refusing drinks and guys as well. I had spotted Seth about an hour ago but there were no signs of Bonnie although everybody was talking about how awesome her party was with unlimited drinks. Nate went up the DJ and began to work on different remixes. A while later, a red-headed girl that looked a lot like Bonnie Constantine walked into the scene. Loads of girls surrounded her and pecked her on the cheek.

Seth came a while later, putting his arms around her. I frowned, watching both of them with narrowed eyes as I pretended to enjoy my drink. Bonnie lovingly caressed the side of his cheek, nuzzling into his neck. There was definitely something going on-

A loud siren broke out, followed by a booming voice that sent everybody pushing and rushing through the emergency exits.

"THIS IS OREGON POLICE." it said and I was unable to hear the rest. Everything became a blur and I was shoved to my side, pushed and then being yanked by the arm. That's when I felt the adrenaline coursing through my veins.

"Run!" Nate urged loudly, holding my wrists tightly. We were going the opposite way the crowd was running to. I tried not to scream, not to lose my mind, not to complain about how my legs were burning. All those times the blood pounded hard on my ears; I've been thinking of getting both of us out of this wretched bar.

"What's happening?" I panted. Nate continued to shove people with his other arm as he held my wrist on the other. I followed suit, heart racing.

"I dunno." he bellowed. "I dunno!" he repeated as he shoved me inside a dark place that reeked heavily of smoke. Well, atleast it's not pee. You should at least be grateful. I panted, then I was shoved again as he went inside with me fumbling with something that gave a slight click. The shouts were still audible, both from the police and the party goers before a shot rang through the air, I think I had temporarily deaf.

The place fell silent but then, hell came loose again. I don't know what's happening out there. I want to look but there were no windows. It was so dark; I can't even see anything. The place was so narrow we were pressed together. We can't move or sit, just stand there facing each other in silence. It was awkward, I must admit but I don't have time to think about it now. All the running, shoving and pushing made my lungs feel like they were lacking oxygen.

"We have to stay here until the police go." he told me. I can feel his hot breath on my forehead. He fumbled with difficulty, and then the littlest of light shone. It was his iPhone.

"Where did you park Mische's car?" he panted. I could smell his fruity breath.

"Next to Starbucks." I answered, clutching my chest with my fist like that would make me breathe normally. "There wasn't much to park around here."
