There was something exciting about entering the stables bright and early in the morning, Jeongguk holding his hand in his as they made their way inside.

Taehyung was smiling widely, anticipation nearly eating him alive as Jeongguk lead the way down the row.

He was trying to keep Taehyung quiet, fingers laced together as he finally got to the last stable.

"Come," he murmured, pulling him closer as he opened the door to the stable.

Inside was the once heavily pregnant horse Jeongguk had shown him only a few weeks prior, now void of any bump and with a baby laying by her side.

He was absolutely gorgeous, small and with long lanky legs.

Taehyung tried to hold in his awed gasp at the sweet sight, squeezing Jeongguk's hand in his before meeting his gaze.

"He's so precious," Taehyung whispered, smiling softly at the baby horse rubbing its nose against his momma's side.

He carefully reached down to touch its silky coat, suddenly feeling overwhelmed when it's nose bumped his hand.

He giggled softly, standing up from his crouched position before Jeongguk immediately wrapped his arm around his waist from behind.

"Glad you think so because he's yours."

Taehyung's eyes widened immediately, body whipping around to face the alpha who had a sly smile on his lips.

"What do you mean?" He breathed, unable to stop the excitement from bubbling in his stomach.

Jeongguk's hand came up to brush a strand of hair out of his eyes, lips curved upward as he began to speak.

"I mean that every queen must have at least one horse to call their own in their lifetime."

Red blossomed on his cheeks at Jeongguk's words, making him feel shy at the sudden title.

" 'm not a queen," Taehyung mumbled, both knowing the title took skill and training neither of which the omega had.

"Alright then, you're still a princess." The alpha settled, making the omega whine in retaliation as he buried his face into his neck.

Jeongguk kissed his temple softly as the omega blinked up at him through long lashes, "Thank you."

They stayed and watched the two horses in their stable, Taehyung trying to come up with a decent name.

Jeongguk had told him he had free reign over a name for the horse, telling him to take his time deciding.

Taehyung cooed at the baby every chance he got, smiling up at Jeongguk from his crouched position.

"Come on let's leave them to rest." Jeongguk spoke, reaching his hand out for Taehyung to grab.

The omega gladly took it, smiling widely as they walked out of the stables hand in hand.

Taehyung hated late nights, especially ones where he would fall asleep before Jeongguk could enter the room.

The bed always felt too big and cold, making him shiver as he covered himself from head to toe with the sheets.

He was inevitably pouty as Jeongguk promised him he would be back early, causing him to wait for his alpha for dinner but to no avail.

He was nearly gone by the time the sound of the door knob being twisted was heard and a ray of light came into the room.

Taehyung immediately sat up, hair most likely wild and crazy but the sight of Jeongguk coming in quietly made him smile.
