"no one is gonna wait that long." lex mumbled after the ceremony had come to an end and she helped haylee with her heels. the woman sat on the floor together as they looked at each other.
"i know i said cole was a good guy but cole is also growing up and maturing. mike, he has a good head on his shoulders." haylee added. she was sure mike had to mature over the course of a year as he was forced to watch himself battle injuries and he had opened up to her that he was grateful for that, "give a chance." she urged
it wasn't easy for her to throw cole away. she was her first and she thought he was going to be her last, yet there she was stranded without him and struggling to breathe. she was crumbled to pieces and there was day she was completely and utterly destroyed. distance made it easier but it didn't mean her heart didn't ache, "it's not easy."
