Haylee leaned over the marble island in the kitchen with a pad of paper planning what to serve for Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas Day brunch. Christmas dinner was going to be served at the stadium. Haylee chewed on the end of her pen. There were a ton of people to feed, and Haylee honestly hated having other people in the kitchen while she was cooking. She didn't even really like it when Jonah was there—mainly because he would distract her.

"What?" Jonah asked looking at her.

"There's just à lot of food that needs to be made for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day," she bit her lip.

"Well maybe you're gonna have to accept some help in the kitchen so you're not super stressed out. Christmas is supposed to be fun," Jonah wrapped his arms around her.

"Ugh I guess," she sighed.

"Mom and Paige like cooking. I'm sure they'd help out. And not get on your nerve like I do," Jonah chuckled kissing her temple.

"I guess so," she slowly conceded.

"But there's plenty of time to work it out. In the meantime, you need to get ready for the game," Jonah pointed at his watch.

"Maybe I could if I didn't have a giant wrapped around me," Haylee teased.

"You had no problem with that last night," he smirked against her cheek.

"Shut up, Jonah," she laughed as he let go of her.
