they said that the first love came at the youngest age. eventually calling out quits over silly things. the second love was said to be the hardest. you get hurt in this one. it teaches you lessons, but makes one stronger. this is the one that you carry in your heart forever, the one love that stains your skins with their lips and this finger prints. now, the third love. that love comes to you when you aren't looking for them. it creeps on you silently and wraps you in it's hold.

lex stood admiring the sunrise on the balcony, serenity laced through her features as the italian birds chirped and the sun hit her tan skin. she had g realized how far deep she was in, until she started filling the water fill up her lungs drowning her. she didn't realize that she needed a breather for her own self until she had to step away from her family and her friends to finally breathe on her own and not rely on anyone for happiness.

lex thought of mike. regardless of the terms that they had left of, there wasn't a day she didn't think of him. she would lay away at night sometimes next to devin and just pray for him. part of her will always want to see him grow into the potential she saw in him. there was no animosity in her heart. because at the end of the day mike was the love that tinted her skin with his lips and his fingerprints and the same one that had put the pieces together only to take a piece her when they parted.

looking at devin who laid still in bed, lex smiled. his eyes were screwed shut as soft breaths left his lips. tightening the sheets closer to her body, she crawled on the bed. her legs straddling him making the bed dip slightly from the sudden weight. leaning to kiss his lips softly,  lex waited for him to respond. finally opening his eyes, devin blinked a couple of times to
adjust to the light. his brown eyes finally landed on lex who held the sheets to her chest covering his body, "if i could say good morning in italian, i would." devin's voice come out hoarse but it sat right in lex's heart.
