Broken friendship?

Two weeks later, it was finally time to go to the stadium and play against Hakuren.

It certainly was nerve-wracking for the Raimon members, though they were still fired up

"By the way, Shindou-senpai."

"Yes, Tenma?"

"When is Nishiki-senpai coming back? I'm pretty interested in meeting him."

"Same! When is he coming back?"

Shinsuke couldn't help but overhear the two teammate's conversation. He also couldn't help butting in, upon hearing the mention of the incredible senior who got an invitation to join an Italian soccer team

"Honestly, I don't know either. The letter only said he's coming back today."

"Oh, ok."

"I have a question."

"Hmm? What is it, Hikaru?"

"Do we have a name for our new hissatsu technique?"

At the sudden question of his friend, the brunet and the rest fell silent. And now that they think about it, it's true that they still don't have a name for the hissatsu technique, which is probably not for the better, to be honest.

Everyone began thinking of a name for their hissatsu technique, and quite frankly, it was kind of hard to come up with an original, yet not stupid sounding name.

All of the names they kept suggesting one after another, were all either hilarious or just plain cringey

"How about Double Wing?"

After a few sessions of good laughter and teasing, Hikaru finally came up with a name that sounded relatively decent to all of the teammates

"Then Double Wing it is."

Upon arriving at their last stop before their destination, they all entered the train simultaneously. And inside the train, behind the glass barrier, they saw the Hakuren players, alongside their new coach.

They all sat down, but they all still kept a firm composure when faced with the opponent.

Tenma managed locked eyes with his Hakuren 'friend', unsure if this was good or bad. They both stared at eachother with piercing eyes. One could almost say they were doing a staring contest. But behind those piercing eyes of Yukimura, the brunet saw a hint of guilt and sadness

'Yuki...'

Once they've arrived at their destined stop, they all got down and all they could hear were the collision of their footsteps.

They realised that they've arrived slightly early, but still proceeded to go to the dressing room, except for two.

Before Tenma could go away, he got held back by someone grabbing his wrist, and when he turned around, he saw that the one who grabbed him was actually Yukimura

"Yuki... Mura...?"

At the pronunciation of the other's full name, the said teen had a light shiver running down his spine. For the first time since they've met, Tenma had said his full name, instead of his nickname. As for Tenma himself, he had a bitter taste lingering in his mouth. It felt rather unpleasant to say his 'friend's' full name, since he's gotten almost too comfortable with calling him Yuki.
