The next day, everyone was training hard, their rhythms and passes were all steady and they also began looking like real soccer players, all of them except for Hayami.

The maroon headed player couldn't keep up with the passes nor the speed of the others and while majority didn't give too much attention about it, thinking that he probably just needs more training, Tenma wasn't so sure about it. Moreover, he saw something in the senior's eyes that the rest of them didn't have, fear and insecurity

'That could be a massive problem...' Just as he was thinking about it, he suddenly saw two other people at the top of the stairs, carefully observing the team. He recalled them being seniors and their names, the brown headed senior as Aoyama and the other one as Ichino 'Have they been watching us this whole time?'

Suddenly, the two senior's eyes met with Tenma's metallic ones, and they began fastening their paces to quickly walk out of his view.

After they were completely out of his view zone, coach Endou announced to the team that it was time for a break. Tenma wasn't sure if the coach also caught sight of the two ex-players or if it was merely coincidence, but one way or another, couldn't have been at a better timing.

Most of his teammates plopped on the benches while some of the other ones were still up, wiping their faces and drinking water.

Suddenly, Endou received a phone call and he didn't stop himself from saying the other's name out loud

"Kudou-san."

As the two adults talked to eachother through their devices, Endou suddenly jumped at a valuable piece of a information about their next opponent - Kaiou Gakuen -

"All of them are Seeds!?" Most of the teammates jumped at the sudden exclamation, minus Tsurugi and Tenma, the brunet simply had wide eyes instead of jumping, as for the ace striker, he was as cool as he can be.

After a few more confirmations, the adult ended the call and Kirino asked him if he was talking about Kaiou Gakuen, hoping that the answer would be a no. Unfortunately, much to his dismay, their coach was indeed talking about their upcoming opponent

"But that means they're all Keshin users!" Stated Kurumada with a very worried tone

"Not exactly."

"Eh?" All the attention was drawn to the ex-Seed of the team, their ace striker Tsurugi Kyousuke

"To be a Seed doesn't necessarily mean they all have Keshins."

"Wait, really!?" Asked Sangoku for the entire team, but Tsurugi just seemingly ignored him and continued his explanation

"Seeds are players that are sent to various schools to make sure other soccer players are following the rules of Fifth Sector, in other words, they're pretty much non-hidden spies that are watching others from the inside of the club." All eyes were glued and locked on Tsurugi, some of them didn't even blink. The ace striker had already predicted this kind of scenario beforehand, so he wasn't surprised at all "Some Seeds plainly use brute force to obligate players into following the rules, while others use mind tricks to make the teams slowly fall under control."

Kurumada thought about this for a split second and proceeded to correct his original sentence

"So basically, even though all of the team members are Seeds, it doesn't mean that they're all Keshin users, right?" Just when Kurumada thought things were looking up a little, Tsurugi dropped a new bomb on his head

"But relying on that would be a big mistake. All Seeds are soccer players that have been specially trained in every aspect, they all hold an immense power and agility that could easily get one shaking on their legs."
