I heard Varian sigh before he got out of the boat and helped me with our things. We ended up finding a small clearing out in the woods next to the city. "Are you sure this is safe?" Varian asked as we sat out things down. "This area feels the better than the rest of the spots we past. And I can always cleanse it to make it better." I said as I looked around the small area trying to figure out what to do next.

"Milady...it's the woods...it's going to be dirty no matter what." He said and I rolled my eyes. "That's not the kind of cleanse I meant." I opened my satchel and held it down on the ground. "Sunny will you please grab me the incense?" I asked and he nodded before hopping into the satchel. Not long after he jumped back out with an incense stick in his mouth. "Thank you!" I said scratching behind his ears and taking the incense.

I licked my thumb and pointer finger before gently pinching the end of the incense quickly. There was a small spark that lit the stick and I wiped my hand on my side. I looked up at Varian and I giggled. "Impressed sapphires?" "Maybe, or you could just be fooling me." I rolled my eyes and started walking around the area cleansing it.

"I hate to interrupt-" Varian started and I smiled at him. "Then don't." I said causing him to roll his eyes. "How is this cleansing?" He asked and I walked up to him and waved the incense stick around him. "It gets rid of all the bad energy, and I have to say Sapphs, you have lots of negative energy sticking to you like glue. It's really gross when you think about it." I said as I walked around him again and I waved it in front of his face causing him to cough from the smoke.

I walked away from him and waved the incense around Sunny who welcomed the cleansing energy. I did the same with Ruddiger who was less cooperative. He tried to take the incense stick from me multiple times, but I surprisingly kept it out of his reach.

Once I was finished I faced Varian. "Want to check out the city?" I asked and he nodded. I pet Sunny's head. "You're in charge okay? Make sure no one gets our things." I said before kissing his head. I watched as Ruddiger ran up and around Varian before climbing up one of the trees. "I guess Ruddiger is staying here too." Varian said and I nodded.

We started walking around the village. "Is it just me or is this town a little...how do I put it?" I asked trailing off. "Depressing?" Varian said and I snapped my fingers. "That's it." I said and we both looked around the dreary city.

I looked around before seeing a large bulletin board full of wanted posters. I grabbed Varian's hand and got a closer look at the board. My eyes widened as I pulled one down. "U-Ugh, sapphires, you might wanna take a look at this." I said and handed him the wanted poster. "Looks like we're both convicts, milady." He said trying to joke as he handed me a different poster. "What?! Let me see!"

I quickly took it from his hands and examined it. "Wow, I have to say as concerning as this is, they did a great job on these." I said looking at all the details in them. "We left Corona yesterday and they already have wanted posters for us?" Varian asked and I shrugged my shoulders. "Word travels fast I guess."

We continued walking around the city when I realized something. I checked my pockets and realized they were empty. I opened my satchel and reached in searching for something. My entire arm going into in. "Okay what is with that satchel of yours?" Varian asked as he stared at me. "I put a portal in it. It connects directly to the cabin. I-I'm just trying to find..." I felt my hand brush up against something before I pulled it out revealing a small pouch. I opened it and turned it over only to have nothing come out.

"Uh bad news. W-we don't have money." I said looking up at Varian and he sighed. "I don't have any money either." We both stared at each other before my eyes lit up. "Oh! I have an idea!" I said smiling up at Varian before shoving my satchel into his arms. "What's your-" "God I hope this works." I said before closing my eyes and snapping my fingers. I heard Varian gasp slightly and I opened one eye to look down to see if it worked. I opened both my eyes as I stared down at a white shirt underneath a black dress that had a small slit in the side.
