They saw her growing up as a girl in the Kasi. I saw her as my beautiful Black Queen, because against all odds, she did what they said was beyond her reach and she showed them that no matter the colour of your skin…you can reach for the stars, and she became a nurse and mind you, they were living in the Apartheid-era. I salute you ouma (grandma) this one is for you. 👸🏾❤️👑

This is for all the people of colour all around the world, just know that you are more than your skin. More than your hair, and more than what they limit you to. Always remember that, YOU ARE NOT YOUR SKIN. You are a very beautiful soul and you are unique, love everything about yourself and never stop believing. You can do all you set your heart and mind to, this one is for all the BEAUTIFUL BLACK QUEENS AND KINGS, always SHINE.👸🏾❤️✨
