He's out his head, I'm out my mind
We got that love, the crazy kind
I am his, and he is mine
In the end, it's him and I

"Shruti?" Aditi called my name and I hummed in response while keeping my gaze on my files. "If you don't remember, party is at five. Cancel all your plans, if you have some."

"I don't have any. It's one of our important days."

"Shruti!" Parth barged inside the room and I widened my eyes. "What's the venue of party?"

"How would I know? Wasn't it your duty?"

"Me? It was on you. I have the bills of food and Aditi is going for the karaoke." He said and I turned to Aditi, who nodded.

"I forgot."

"You forgot!" They shouted in unison and I sighed. "You know it's such an important day for us. Aditi managed to pass the school in the same batch as ours, after so many hardships. How could you forget the day this miracle happened?!" Parth said and Aditi flamed in anger. I chuckled and she glared at me.

"Don't worry. I'll head out to find the venue, now. Okay?"

"Now?"

"Yeah. My work is almost over." I said and packed my purse to head out. The restaurant which we chose last year was entirely booked. Travelling through the city, I stumbled upon a restaurant which had a cabin unbooked for evening with great deals. Thank God!

Making the bookings, I sat in my car and started the engine.

Wait!

Rishabh's office is nearby.

Should I go?

I've never visited his office. Actually, I came here once, before our wedding. But Rishabh was out for some work then. Mumma and papa visited his workplace to check on their son-in-law and his financial status before our wedding.

Taking a deep sigh, I drove to his office to surprise him. Stepping inside the building, I was about to go the lift but stopped after remembering that I didn't know his room. I didn't even know the floor?!

Seeing someone sitting in the reception, I walked to the receptionist to ask about Rishabh.

"Excuse me."

"Yes."

"Is Rishabh in the office?" I asked and he nodded while keeping his eye on the computer screen. "Can you tell me the floor on which his room his?" I asked and he looked up.

"Do you have an appointment?"

"Umm... I don't."
