Now I'm under your control
And I can't take it anymore
We should make this personal
Why can't you just close the door?

"What?"

"Yes."

"You mean to say that he's your own cousin? You have a blood relation with him?" I asked and Ansh nodded. "Akriti di is his ex-wife?" He hummed and I sighed. "Why didn't you inform me earlier?"

"Circumstances. I tried but couldn't."

I knew that Ansh had a cousin who was divorced but I never knew he was Akriti di's ex-husband.

"You should have. Everything is so messed up now."

"Do you know the best solution to this situation?" He asked and I shook my head in negative. "You shouldn't have married your wife. Problem solved! There was no way you were sitting here with a tensed face if you never involved yourself in it." He spoke and I glared.

"Do you know the even better solution? When you asked for my sister's hand for your marriage, we should've declined your proposal straightway. Problem solved!" I said and he narrowed his eyes.

"That's illogical."

"You said the same. I can't go in the past and break my wedding just because of such a petty matter."

"Relax. I was joking." He said and I shook my head in disbelief. "Well, Yash bhaiya is not at all close to me. He always faked a perfect persona. It's my mother who treats him like her first son, the apple of her eyes. It was her decision to call him in the ceremonies."

"That's not the point. The main issue is making everything less awkward than before."

"I don't think we can do anything in their matter. Let's say, it's upto them how they shape their future." He sighed and I turned my gaze towards the clock on table.

Yash is Ansh's uncle's son. Although they both share the same paternal grandparents, they have a lot of difference between them.

One thing I could never understand is, how can he be unfaithful to Akriti di, his better-half. Did he never love her? Even if there was no love, what about the commitment marriage comes with?

How can his family members not despise him after what he did?

As I heard a sound of ping, my gaze went towards my phone. Seeing the notifications on the screen, I smiled.

"You're smiling? What's the matter?" He peeped into my phone and raised his eyebrows. "Is that an airline ticket? Whoa! Are those the tickets for your honeymoon?" He asked and I nodded. "Get ready to make your bank balance nil. Mine costed the income of two months."

"Not everyone is weak in calculations and planning like you." I said and he narrowed his eyes. "Don't tell anyone about it. Not even Radhika! She can't digest any news for a long time."

"Wait! Your honeymoon is not a surprise, is it?"

"It's a present for Shruti's birthday and I don't want her to know this from somewhere else."

"Good luck. Wait, isn't it-" Before he could speak further, his phone rang and he had to pick it up. "Yeah babe. I know... Diapers? For you?" He asked Radhika and I chuckled. He made a fake crying face and put the call on speaker.
