This special was originally written as an one year anniversary celebration. Personally, I am very proud to see that people like the story and engage. I couldn't be more grateful for all of your support and excitement towards the book.
I am also glad to say that my writing has improved quite a lot since I've started (Y/n)'s story, and I'm happy that a lot of you have sticked with me till the end.
Well... I say 'the end', but who am I fooling, for this isn't the end. I will be publishing a new book called *drum roll* "Missing Force." It continues from where this special ends.
Just a little request, I'd like to add some reviews to the description of Missing Piece. So if you liked the book and want to leave a little something in the comments I may use, then I'd be very grateful! Thanks in advance!
  For now, enjoy!

Stories consist of baselines -the skeleton of the story-, content, and fixed points.
It is possible that if you chance one fact, one emotion, one reaction, all might have gone differently. Why don't we look into it a bit? My gift for the one year anniversary is this; one possible outcome of how this story could have ended. Starting from one, important moment.

For the die-hard Kylo and Armitage fans.
I hope this extra chapter (19.769 words long) levels your expectations.
Don't forget to vote and comment, 'cus yes, I've spent too much time on this.

"I-I have to tell you something... I'm sorry I have to say this, I'm sorry I have to do this, but I want to prevent you from getting hurt. If I'd known this could have happened I would never have allowed you to get too close. I never knew that that child was capable of experiencing something close to love." Armitage rambled on.
I was confused, but mostly anxious and afraid even. "Armitage, what are you trying to say?" My voice uttered shakily.
Hux took a deep breath before answering, his eyes stood soft, ready to catch me once I'd fall.
"Matt isn't who you think he is, he is Kylo Ren."

  "I know."
  Armitage inhaled sharply. "You what?"
"I know Matt is Kylo," I repeated myself. "I've known for some time now. It's pretty obvious isn't it? I mean, they are never together in one room, they share the same background, and the fact that Kylo never could restrain himself and seemed so out of character when in my presence is undeniable."
  The General rubbed his temples.
I noticed some annoyance in the way the muscle in his jaw twitched.
"I am very relieved to hear that (Y/n)." His hands left the sides of his face and revealed a glad smile.
Even though he didn't appear annoyed at all.
"Spares me the pain of seeing you hurt." Hux rested his gloved hand on my cheek and started caressing it with his thumb.
Fondly, I looked at his reassuring hand. "Thank you Armitage, for always looking out for me."
Something close to regret flashed in his features. His hand suddenly frozen.
"You did almost scare the Force out of me though," I joked.
"So you're not full of rage nor despair?"
His fingers began to dig into my cheek, a bit too rough to my liking and yet almost unnoticeable.
"Nope. I'm completely fine. I've been lied to before. Too many times to still care about it. Instead I want to focus on what I do have. Which is your presence in my life."
Hux's grip loosened and he let go.
"That is very sweet of you to say."
"It's only the truth," I admitted.
Something switched in the General's behaviour, it began to show cracks.
Armitage's gaze got absent in the distance. He seemed to have lost something, in all senses of the word. Which was quite unnatural. Not only to him, but for me to notice as well.
"Are you alright? Something seems to be bothering you..." I wondered. "Know that if something's wrong, you can always talk to me, okay?" I offered sincerely.
Hux forced a smile that only engaged to his lips. "I would come to you straight away."
