Chapter 17

"So, it's official? Hindi na basta BFF lang?!"

I was busy doing my something on my laptop when Jilyn together with Alvin went inside my office. They were asking about my relationship to Maverick. Hindi na sila natigil, ilang araw na silang ganiyan dahil sa araw-araw na paghahatid sa akin ni Maverick na madalas naman nilang makita. I didn't mind them and continue doing the report that I was supposed to pass today but because our boss was absent, thus I am going to pass it tomorrow.

"Bakla, deadma ka," I heard Alvin's voice whisper to Jilyn.

"Hoy, Cha!" Jilyn shouted hence I looked at her with widened eyes.

"Need ba talagang sumigaw? Ha, Jilyn?" I asked calmly. I stopped from typing something and looked at them while my arms crossed. "What are you two doing here?" I asked.

"Makikipag-chikahan," sambit ni Alvin at naupo sa couch.

"Tapos na ba kayo sa trabaho niyo?" Tanong ko at ipinagpatuloy ang pagtitipa sa laptop.

Masaya silang tumango-tango at nagsimulang magdaldalan. Nakinig lang ako sa kanila at kapag tinatanong nila ay tsaka lang ako nagsasalita. They were just chit chatting nonstop until I shouted because of satisfaction.

"Ugh! The heck!" Sigaw ko at tumayo mula sa pagkakaupo. I went to their center and hug them because of happiness. "Guys!" Sabi ko at inuuga-uga sila habang nakaakbay sa kanila.

"B-Bakit?" Jilyn asked, perplexed.

Sinampal-sampal ko ang pisngi ko at umakto na kinikilig. "Niyaya akong magdate ni Maverick!" Sigaw ko at tumayo upang tumalon-talon. 

"Ay 'te, first time makipag-date?" Alvin asked, nakangiwi.

Sinamaan ko siya ng tingin at umiling. It's not my first date but it's my first date with Maverick. My heart is beating hard and rapidly.

"Kailan daw?" Tanong ni Alvin.

"Bukas," sagot ko at inayos ang skirt na suot-suot ko.

I frowned because they laughed at me! "Bukas pa pala, bwisit ka!" Alvin shouted.

Matapos kong sabihin sa kanila 'yon ay nagtuloy sila sa pagkukwentuhan na minsan ay nagtatawanan pa sila.

My mind's flying to what will going to happen for our date tomorrow. That will be our very first date, I hope that it'll be fine for the both of us. Iniisip ko pa lang kung anong magiging ganap sa date namin ay parang sasabog na ang dibdib ko sa kilig at kasiyahan.

Kinabukasan, nagising ako nang mas maaga pa sa inaasahan. I went to the bathroom and took a bath there. After a few minutes of preparing myself, I went outside of our house just to see my boyfriend waiting for me. I am happy that I was able and free to call him that he's my boyfriend.

"Good morning, mahal," he greeted and I could feel how my cheeks reddened. He chuckled when he noticed that I was blushing! "You're cute," sabi niya at lumapit sa'kin upang halikan ang pisngi ko.

"G-Good morning," bati ko at yumakap sa kaniya.

"Don't forget our dinner date later, huh?" He reminded me and opened his car's door.

We were just talking about different stuffs until we went our company building. "Bye, ingat ka," sabi ko hinalikan siya ng mabilisan sa labi na siyang ikanagulat niya.

Before he could react to what I did, I immediately opened the door of the car and walked towards our building. Humarap ako sa kotse niya habang naglalakad at kumaway sa kaniya. Natawa pa ako dahil hindi pa niya pinaandar ang kotse niya para umalis.

I was smiling while walking confidently in the hallway. I also greeted some of my co-workers, snugging.

A snickle drew from my face as I remembered that I kissed Maverick's lips. Even if that was just a fast kiss I still take that as our first kiss. Hindi ko i-co-consider na first kiss 'yong kinissan ko siya noong party. Hindi 'yon kasali sa bilang. Naalala ko 'yung itsura niya bago ko siya iwan, it's funny how his face looks really shocked after I kissed him. His reaction was priceless!
