THIS CHAPTER IS SHORT BECAUSE ALL THE REACTIONS TO THE PROPOSAL WILL BE THERE OWN CHAPTERS!!!

The morning after the two new Hermes kids stupid prank, Percy woke up early, right before the sun was about to rise.

Annabeth sensing his movement opened her eyes "morning Perce" she said tracing her hand over his knuckles.

He kissed her forehead "morning Wise Girl" Then he had his brilliant proposal idea. He would propose on the beach at sunrise.

He made up a lame excuse "we should walk down to the beach this morning I promised the fish I would check on them last night and then got distracted"

Annabeth nodded "I could use some fresh air, and maybe we could watch the sunrise, we haven't done that in a while"

Percy smiled and started to sit up "well we better hurry because the sun will rise in the next hour it seems like"

Annabeth smiled "look at my Seaweed Brain actually using his head"

Percy chuckled "i've learned from the best." The couple started to get ready. When Annabeth went to put her hair up in the bathroom, Percy grabbed the ring and stuffed it in his cargo shorts pocket. He pulled on his camp t-shirt and fiddled with his necklace. When Annabeth walked out he smiled. She was dressed in a camp half blood shirt that was cropped and fell slightly off her shoulder. The best shoulder and jean shorts along with white converse. Her hair was pulled into a high ponytail.

Percy gave her a kiss and said "lead the way Wise Girl" Annabeth grabbed his hand and they walked out of the Poseidon cabin down to the beach.

As they walked Percy asked "should we visit Camp Jupiter soon, I feel like we haven't seen Reyna in a while"

Annabeth nodded "thats a good idea Seaweed Brain, we should probably check in" she traced the tattoo on his arm. They reached the beach and Annabeth leaned in as Percy put his arm around her waist.

"We should check on those fish now" Annabeth said. She had a feeling she knew what was about to happen and was starting to smile.

Percy grinned "I believe we should" He jumped off the dock into the lake and made his splash pull Annabeth under the water and then created a giant bubble around them, just as the sun began to shine and show through the water.

Annabeth smiled and Percy said "I was thinking--"

Annabeth smiled softly "about anyone in particular?"

Percy laughed as he moved onto one knee reaching into his pocket "your are so not making this easy"

Annabeth felt herself start to tear up, this was it "I am never, ever going to make things easy for you, Seaweed Brain. Get used to it"

Percy grinned pulling the ring out from his pocket and opening the box "I would expect nothing less from you Wise Girl" he paused as Annabeth started to grin tears in her eyes. He then continued "Annabeth Chase, you are the most stubborn, smart, brave, beautiful person i've ever met. It is said when humans were created they had four arms, four legs, and two faces before Zeus split them into two other parts. Wise Girl you are my other half. You keep me sane and alive. You give me something to stick around for. I would walk through Tartarus again many times just to be with you or keep you safe. The fates have done one thing right and I will forever thank them for making you mine. I don't know how or why you put up with me and I know you could kick my ass anytime, but I am grateful for you. I love you more than anything Wise Girl. We can get through anything as long as we're together. So Annabeth Chase, Wise Girl, will you do me the honor of becoming a Jackson? Will you marry me?" Percy was grinning with tears in his eyes as

Annabeth covered her mouth with her hand tears streaming down her face and sunk to her knees holding out her left hand "Yes, Perseus Jackson I love you more than life. I will a thousand percent marry you" Percy took the ring out of the box and slipped it onto her ring finger. he placed the box back in his pocket. Then the newly engaged couple just stared at each other for a minute taking in the moment.

Finally Annabeth couldn't take it anymore she launched herself at Percy sending him toppling over and gave him a firm kiss on the lips. Percy smiled into the kiss. When they broke apart gasping for air, Percy started to lift the bubble to the surface sending them back to the dock. When they got there they were both grinning.

Percy pulled Annabeth close "were engaged" he whispered in disbelief.

Annabeth laughed "I would hope so considering you just proposed".

Annabeth pulled away and they sat down next to each other on the dock. She leaned her head against his shoulder and actually looked at the ring. It was beautiful.

Percy noticed this and said "the gods made it. Dad delivered it to me on the Empire State trip. Your mom and dad also both approved which is a good thing. The gods imparently had a big vote and voted in favor of us getting married."

Annabeth smiled "I think we would have done what we wanted either way"

Percy kissed her "we would have but I was being polite"

Annabeth leaned farther into him "I didn't know my fiance could be polite"

Percy grinned and said again "I didn't know my fiance-- I got nothing I just wanted to say it"

Just then the breakfast bell rung and they shot up Annabeth asked "does anyone know?"

Percy shook his head "I told no one except our parents"

Annabeth grinned "well I guess its time to tell them" She took his hand and they took off toward the dining pavilion.
