Wedding Planning pt.3 (the tux)

THIS CHAPTER HAS SOME REPEATED TROPES THAT IVE USED BUT.... SORRY ITS BEEN SO LONG I PROMISE IM GONNA GET BACK TO NORMAL SCHEDULE <3 TW: GUNS AND VIOLENCE. ALSO I HAVE A NEW PLAN. THIS IS A PREQUEL TO MY NEXT FIC WHICH IS GOING TO BE CALLED THE MODERN HEROES BOOK 1: THE HEROES BLADE. A SERIES ABOUT A BATTLE AGAINST TARTARUS WHO HAS PUT A BOUNTY ON THE HEADS OF SOME MAJOR DEMIGODS. MAINLY BEING OUR FAVORITE COUPLE PERCY AND ANNABETH. THIS STORY WILL FOLLOW THEM AS THEY FIGHT AGAINST THERE PAST TRAUMAS AND STRT GETTING NEARER TO A FUTURE BATTLE THATS BIGGER THEN EXPECTED.

Getting the right tux is an important part of the wedding. Which is why at 10 am on a Saturday morning Percy and his friends plus his mom and Paul were standing outside a tux store. Poseidon had been supposed to come but had I'Med that morning stating there was an Olympian emergency. Which of course concerned Percy and Annabeth but they ignored it even though they knew the problem would eventually find them anyway. The mortals and demigods were staying more separated then the girls did but Jason, Grover, and Will were making a big effort. Finally everyone stepped inside.

 Darren whispered to Cole noticing Percy fidgeting with Riptide "why does he always have that pen" 

Cole nodded and said "Its Percy how has he not lost it yet"

 Cole shrugged and the man at the front walked up to Sally and Paul "hello I am Cooper and who might this appointment be for" 

The group turned to Percy as Sally said "my son Percy" Percy smiled nervously feeling very nervous and uncomfortable around that many people without Annabeth. 

Cooper turned to Percy some sort of recognition lighting in his eyes "Mr. Jackson a pleasure to meet and serve you, legacy of apo--" 

Jason cut him off "yeah Perce is really excited to be here" Cooper looked up at the confused mortals then nodded in understanding. 

"Come along Mr. Jackson, we will start with your tie colors" Percy nodded and they followed Cooper into a large room filling with ties and suits" Percy and Jason and Max all groaned at the same time as there seemed to be a lot to look at. 

Cooper asked "what color were you thinking?" Percy looked at his mom because only she had seen Annabeths dress. 

"Percy should have a grey tie and everyone else sea green, we also need a tux for Thalia by the way Perce" Jason laughed and Percy nodded. 

Cooper started going through colors and Darren said "couldn't we have ordered all this online" 

Percy laughed "I agree" 

Grover bleated to which the mortals looked confused "Annie would have killed you if you had done it online" Frank nodded his agreement along with Will. Finally Cooper handed Percy two ties. One the color of his eyes and one the color of Annabeths. 

Percy smiled "perfect"

 Cooper clapped his hands together and said "lets now move on to the--" he was cut off by the door of the shop bursting open and six masked men with guns and knives walking in. All the mortals took a step back band the demigods groaned looking towards Percy who was rubbing his temples. 

"Seriously guys today?" he said. The mortals having had seen what he and Annabeth had done to the muggers last time were still concerned because these guys had guns, one even had what looked like a machete, and another what looked like an crossbow which Percy found strange normally robbers didn't use crossbows. 

The first man stepped up "be calm and give us the money and Perseus and we will leave"

 Leo like a crazy person started to laugh "why do you want Percy of all people? He can be seriously frustrating. No offense Perce" 

Percy cracked his knuckles "none taken" 

The man said "theres a hitman bounty on his head, lots of money and we were planning on robbing this place anyway" Percy was itching to grab his pen but again these were mortal muggers.

 "Grover call Wise Girl make sure she's okay and tell her were running late" Percy said. All the demigods got into position behind him and the mortals looked even more confused as everyone got into fighting stances. The other masked men stepped up. 

Percy rolled his eyes "are you guys sure you don't want to reschedule I mean i'm fairly busy as you can see" 

Darren whispered to Jack "is he serious"

 Grover who was standing in front of the mortals with Will, and Nico said "of course he's serious he's Percy"

 Nico grumbled "and the biggest idiot there is" 

Will laughed "thats true to" Percy turned to his demigod back up but thats when one of the men lunged for Percy as he was turned around. Sally took in a breath but Percy had uncapped Riptide not really caring about the repercussions of the mist and mortals and blocked the Machete from hitting him. The mortals saw a sword for a split second before it looked like Cooper had tossed Percy a metal rod. Even with the mist Percy knowing the Machete was about to hit him without looking looked pretty super powered. As Percy engaged in a sword fight with the man he yelled his battle commands. 

"Jason, Leo, Frank cover the right. Malcom, Nico, Will take the left. Travis, Connor, grover stay at the back protect from the back. Nico add some protection" Nico knew what Percy meant and shielded the mortals in some extra mist as Percy conjured water from the air to create an unbreakable water dome around them as this was a gun fight. The mortals didn't see the water around them they just felt safer for some odd reason. Percy was doing this all while sword fighting the guy with the machete and not breaking a sweat. Finally a full battle was going on. Jason and Leo were taking on one of the masked men while Frank was taking another. Nico was staying on the offensive while trying to control the mist and help Will and Malcom with one of the other men. In about two minutes 5 of the men were on the floor and sirens could be heard outside. That only left the man with the gun. 

He was on top of the table in the center of the room the gun pointed directly at Percy who was rolling his eyes "seriously dude its not worth it" Darren gripped Jacks hand as Percy literally put his arms at his side the masked man shit but Percy lightning fast lifted his sword and deflected the bullet into the mans leg who collapsed. 

"Told ya" Percy said. Thats when the police came running in. Percy quickly capped riptide and started to act distressed along with the other demigods. They did not need to government on there case. Cole and Garret looked at each other because they both noticed something. A flash of a sword disappearing into Percys pen.

The police cleared the place and the demigods and mortals went home not before ordering wedding outfits though. Percy gave Annabeth a sweet kiss as she was waiting at the door with Hazel who Nico had called to hang out there just in case.  

"You okay Seaweed Brain" Annabeth asked. 

Percy nodded "confused more thn aanything" 

Annabeth laughed "well thats normal for you" 

The couple decided to call Chiron who knew nothing and then watch Finding Nemo. they fell asleep on the couch.

When the mortal boys arrived at Jacks house they called the girls. 

"Theres something there not telling us" Jack said on the phone "and im done not knowing"

Josie said "how do we find out?"

Cas said "we ask them"

Garret responded "ask them what? why they can fight? why Percy was missing for a year" why there covered in cars and tattoos? why Percy has a sword?"

Cas sighed "your right"

Alissa said "I say we gather evidence and come up with a hypothesis. Are you all in"

At once all the mortals said "were in"

Max said "operation find what Percy and Annabeth are hiding has begun"
