A Goode Year for Percabeth

Group Hangout feat. Percabeth Kicking ASS

All credits to this chapter go to an idea from bluetoac that I had never heard until I read there story!!! It is now one of my favorite one-shots in stories I've looked up. Percabeth against mortal villains. Muggers/ Thieves/ Vandals/ even government.

A few weeks later the group had decided to hang out after school. They decided during English, the one class they all had together much to Pauls dismay. Basically a quarter of his class was just made up of Percy and Annabeth's friends. Percy and Annabeth were already hard enough to get to focus with the ADHD and Dyslexia and PTSD.  Luckily though Paul was able to get them greek and latin copies of all the books they read in class. He also made sure the whole classes work load wasn't too much. He was awesome to have has a teacher. 

The first month of school had gone well for Percy and Annabeth. They had made friends and blended in sort of. They also started wearing short sleeves becoming more comfortable with their scars. Percy always made a show of kissing Annabeth's shoulder whenever the scar was visible making of the shoulder tops her new favorite thing.

 They had visited camp one week before to see Grover and Juniper who the couple had missed. Grover up until then had been busy being Lord of the Wild in Louisiana. Something about angry tree nymphs. The reunion was amazing and tearful. Percy and Annabeth had missed their third wheel. They were gonna visit again in the next few weeks before Grover left to Michigan to deal with nereids.  

During english one day Darren had passed a note to Jack who passed it to Garret who passed it to Josie who passed it to Cas who passed it to Alissa who passed it to Cole who passed it to Max who then whispered to Percy "the crew wants to go to Darrens house to hang tonight since his parents are going out, are you guys up for it?"

 Percy then whispered the question to Annabeth who whispered to Percy "its up to you Percy, I'm okay with it as long as were careful" There had been quite a few monster attacks the past few days and the couple were trying to be more cautious. 

Percy nodded and whispered back to Max "okay sounds good"  

Paul had caught them talking and rolled his eyes "Percy, Max stop talking and Darren stop passing notes" They all turned red and Annabeth smiled seeing Percy try to keep from laughing. After school that day everyone met at Percy and Annabeth's lockers. 

Darren was on the phone when he hung up he said "we have to walk since none of us besides Cole have cars which he forgot to take to school today" 

He shot a glare at Cole who threw his hands up in defeat "its in the shop"

 Garret muttered under his breath "because he ran into a tree" Josie nodded in conformation and the whole group broke in to laughs as they exited the school building. Percy threaded his hand in Annabeth's who leaned on him slightly as they walked. Percy had a very bad nightmare the night before so Annabeth was honestly glad he was going to a friends house. A distraction was good. 

They rounded the corner and started talking about upcoming field trips for the year. The senior class had been told they would have three but weren't sure where too. The ones in Ancient History did know they would be going to the MET though. Percy and Annabeth were not looking forward to that. 

Cas questioned "what do you guys have against the MET?" Percy and Annabeth shared a look and burst into laughter. Cas rolled her eyes "I swear half your guys life is a secret" Percy and Annabeth sobered up when Cas said that. They then took a turn into a new street. Right when Cas was about to question them again they heard a sound. The the gears of a butterfly knife. 

Percy looked around realizing they were in an abandoned area by the school. Immediately they were back to back in battle mode.

"What's going on?" Max asked
