Cold Little Eyes

Chapter 13

Roksoo walk through the hallway as quietly as possible until he got to Cale's door.

Because he thinks that there's no safer place in this inn than cales room... Because Cale is there. Meaning no assassins can get close to him. Without Cale's permission.

Roksoo is a hundred percent sure that's true, so he decides to sleep there! But of course, on the couch, he would even get on his knees just so Cale can keep him here.

So without further notice roksoo knock on the door three times until he heard cales permission to enter

Since he still knows manners you know.

"What do you want?"

Roksoo looks at Cale who's doing paper works in the middle of the night

Looks like nightmare

"It's dangerous outside... Can I sleep here?"  He said in his most serious face and tone making the redhead confuse

"Are you a child?" The redhead blurted out, and roksoo who feel no shame just nod.

"I can't sleep knowing there's a lot of danger outside, That can potentially kill me," he said still looking at Cale straight in the eyes.

The room suddenly turned cold, Cale frowned and look back at his paper works

"Can't you just sleep with Choi Han? He could protect you, you know. Choi Han is strong" Cale said rubbing his tired eyes

'He's actually the scariest' roksoo thought

"I'm going to sleep on the couch, I won't even bother you."

"What is happening? - are you two--"

'Don't. Don't even bother thinking about it... Sigh why a God like you is stupid? Your favorite is a coward. A coward like you!'

"Your hurting me Cale! Huhuhu-"

"Fine. Just rotate it back so I won't see you. I hate when another person is within my range at this hour"

"Thank you young master Cale you're really the golden benevolent Child of the Heni-"

"If you ever finish that sentence-"

"Goodnight my lord. "

Veins pop out cales forehead as he continues to look at his paperwork

'I would choke that man.'

"CALE CONTROL YOUR ANGER! ROKSOO NEEDS TO LIVE! THINK ABOUT THE FUTURE! THINK ABOUT THE WAR! "

'After that then.'

The God sigh in relief and look at his favorite child worriedly 'I'm doing my best to help you son! ' he said dramatically.

In the morning Ron walks into Cale's room to deliver his 'favorite' lemon tea as always

He looks at the young master who's doing some paper works in his desk and put the lemon tea on the side

"Good morning young master Cale, this is your lemon tea sir," he said smiling happily when he see the slight frown on the boy's face

"Thanks, Ron," Cale said and sip some tea, he loathes the taste. "Ron, would you be so kind as to get some for roksoo too? He's tired and needs some refreshing tea"

"Kim roksoo?" Ron repeats

The man in question flinches on the bed Ron didn't even notice a minute before

Ron's smile starts to get bigger and darker "Of course young master Cale. I would prepare it so when sir. Roksoo wakes up would have a refreshing drink. " Ron said and walk outside the room as quietly as possible like a real assassin

Roksoo wants to cry blood, he looks around the room and then straightened his gaze to Cale who's ignoring him now and focusing on his work.

"Why? " roksoo said in complete depression.

"A payback. of course," Cale said and look at him with a smile of mischief

Roksoo looks away to hide his face, the first time he sees Cale's smile is so beautifully depressing

Still, great smile thought.

Roksoo thought not noticing the slight pink in his cheeks.

Anyway just to clear some thoughts he did sleep on the couch that night, and Cale woke up wayyy, to early. and make him prepare his bath.

So roksoo who's still half asleep accidentally turned the water in the tub so hot, making Cale pissed.

Then after that Cale told him to prepare his clothes instead. But after Cale finishes his bath the clothes are still nowhere to be seen. So he walks out of the bathroom only wearing a towel to see roksoo sleeping soundly on his bed.

Cale almost throws him outside but GoD pleads for his life again, so Cale has no choice but to calm his anger until Ron comes in.

Cale knows he could count on Ron in times like this.

But the one thing that Cale is pissed off about is when he looks at sleeping Roksoo's face that morning

"He looks cute like this" he unconsciously said making him stunned for a minute before throwing a pillow at the peacefully sleeping roksoo.

GoD won't dare tease him about that, since Cale is holding the pen way too tightly that he fears he would stab the sleeping roksoo if he make a comment

GoD is confused and stressed at the sudden turn of events
