Chapter 18

After they got inside Cale's room. Cale immediately forgot what happened and wave at Roksoo to sit down and talk about their next move. 

Since Choi Han is gone Roksoo isn't as guarded as before but still guarded since they still have two more assassins around... and that little dragon.

"Oh. On and Hong can do that they're stronger than you think, they're still a member of a cat tribe after all" Roksoo said sounding so proud while explaining the little Children's ability

"Send this letter off then. I already prepared in advance, the god of deaths keeps pestering me about them"

"CAlllleeeee" the god whined in his head

'Silent'

"T_T"

"Oh. that's good then, I will tell the kids later " Actually Roksoo make a letter too, so he's thinking if he should send both or Cales only. but some misunderstanding might happen along the way because of this, Roksoo dismisses the idea and send only Cales' letter.

Well, he's the saint of the god of death and Cage is the maiden. maybe some important information is in there that Cage specifically needs to know.

They both fall into a comfortable silence while doing their own thing... alone inside Cales office.

While Hans is in a dilemma he didn't know what's happening behind those closed doors- is his young master alright? does Mr. Ron know about this?!- he needs to report this to the count!! 

Wait. What if the young master wants this thing a secret? Yes, the count tells him to report all the things regarding young master Cale.. b-b-But! aren't this a little bit more personal?!?!?!? 

Wait, what if some maids caught a whiff of this scandal?! 

Hans clench his fist. young master is always distant from the family, he's always alone with only Mr. Ron and Beacrox on his side, this is the first time young master has someone that hopefully would make him happy- Young master deserves this happiness and Hans would make sure no one would spread rumors about this!! he needs to guard young masters' relationships and make sure no one would break them apart!

Hans wipes the tear off his face his eyes are burning in determination.

Don't worry young master Cale! I'll do my best to make sure no one knows about this!

Hans is such a good butler.

Ron glances at the suddenly determined Hans and sighs. He needs to talk to this boy after work to clear what unpleasant conclusion he thought about this..... scene

Ron's smile widen and make a detour to the kitchen to make the SWEETEST lemon tea he could make. he's sure that boy Kim Roksoo would like this. after all, this is his young master's favorite.

Beacrox side-eyed his father and shakes his head.   

Roksoo look at the still-working redhead and thought about the future things that might or might not happen in the future

Joining the redhead is the best decision so far and he's waiting for a certain prince to know about them soon 

Based on his examination of the whole new plot this world has is-

Cale henituse in this time is a once-in-a-lifetime genius. There's a rumor he heard before they attend the banquet 

its a rumor about an 8-year-old Cale doing the Count's duty when he left for personal problems, cale is still a child back then but he effortlessly Rule their county that even the cabinets and other officials next to the count couldn't complain on being led by a child since Cale bring them much more good results on the projects then the count himself. Cale manages to improve the county a lot before the count comes back from his temporary vacation (it's a whole year vacation) 

The County has less crime and the poor side of their county is improving because of him too. Roksoo looks at the now frowning redhead who's massaging his shoulder a little before going back to writing a report again for who knows what.

Roksoo usually won't care for others' discomfort but, since Cale is nothing but generous to him since he come to their county until now Roksoo stand up and walk slowly to Cale 

the redhead gives him a confused look but roksoo just shrugged and massaged Cale's shoulder instead he felt the redhead stiffen in his hold but roksoo pay him no mind and just massage his shoulder in peace. he kinda knows what it's like to have this problem since once upon a time he was writing reports too for the government who won't read them anyways 

Based on the story he read Cale is a disgrace, and the other nobles pity and laugh at the county because of him, but now that Cale isn't like what the book said but instead he's a child prodigy Roksoo is a hundred percent sure other nobles would try to talk to him 

and surely the crowned prince too 

Roksoo frowned but only for a second before continuing to massage Cale's shoulders softly 

"Ahem," the cough takes roksoos attention, and viola there's a deadly smiling butler in front of him Roksoo removes his hands from cales shoulder and awkwardly sits next to Cale instead of not looking at the butler- yes it's Ron

"Did your shoulders hurt again young master?" Ron said his voice always soft but his gaze is on Roksoo 

I'm just trying to help, Roksoo reasons in his head but he knows he can't say it to the butler whos holding a tray of teas. Roksoo already dreaded what's gonna happen next.

"Mhmm. Roksoo just help me massage it" Yes thankyou young master Roksoo thought ignoring the warmth that pooled in his stomach since Cale save him again  

"Yeah Im thankful that Roksoo-nim is near you young master," Ron said and pour them some tea 

You don't look happy at all. Roksoo thought after glancing at the butler whose gaze is still on him Roksoo immediately look at Cale whose focusing on his papers than the two people in his office 

How important is that paper?! Should you be preparing for the banquet?!
