Chapter 24

(Becky's POV)

"Everyone, grab each others hand!" I screamed out as soon as the lights were out and immediately grabbed a hand with each of mine.

I heard shuffling immediately and heavy breathing.

It was pitch black. Even with my wolf vision I couldn't see anything!

What the f*ck! What's happening!?

Even with this much darkness we should be able to see each other.

"Is everyone grabbing each other?"

"What the hell is going on!?" Bethany practically screamed.

"Why can't I see anything?!" Ruby asked frustrated, but you could also hear the fear in her voice.

"Calm down. Now, everyone stay still and listen. Bethany I want you to shake your right hand and the person who's hand is being shaken, say it is you."

I heard shuffling and then Ruby spoke.

"It's my hand she's shaking."

"Okay. Good. Now, Ruby shake your right hand," I told her.

Almost immediately my hand was shaken.

"Okay. It's me Ruby."

I then shook my right hand.

"It's me" I heard Bethany say.

Okay, but that means...

"Where's Katherine!?" we all screamed at the same time.

"She should be holding one of our hands! I remember she was standing next to me so I grabbed her hand! Katherine!" Ruby shouted.

Silence.

"Katherine, this isn't funny. Please answer" Bethany said as calmly as possible but her voice was quivering.

Silence again.

I could feel Bethany shaking as well as Ruby.

"Guy's, calm down. Don't worry, I'm sure she's fine. Now. We have to-" I started but stopped as the light came back on.

We all stared at each other with wide eyes.

Almost immediately we looked around us in search of Katherine and moved around the house as fast as we could.

We called out her name but she wouldn't answer.

Where the f*ck was she!?

I ran a hand through my blonde hair and made my back to the living room where I saw the girls were already.

"Anything?" I asked worried.

They shook their heads, fear and worry clear in their eyes.

"Where is she?" Ruby asked, desperation in her voice.

I made my way around the sofa towards her but stopped mid-step as something caught my eye.

On the coffee table, behind them, there was a piece of paper.

My eyebrows came together in confusion.

It wasn't there before...

"What's wro-" began Bethany but she didn't get to finish as I stormed around them and picked up the paper.

My eyes widen as I scanned the first few words, before reading all of it aloud.

'You shouldn't have kept her from me. I told you she was MINE and only MINE. I told you nothing would stop me from getting her, but did you listen?

Don't worry, she's safe. After all, I love her.

Don't come looking for her if you know what's good for you. You wouldn't be able to find her even if you tried.

Stay away from her, she belongs to me and always will!

She is MINE and no one will take what belongs to me!'

I looked up at them and saw tears in there eyes.

Anger consumed me immediately.

That son of a b*tch better not f*cking hurt her!

The letter started crumpling into a ball as my hands slowly turned to fists.

She was taken from right under our noses!

There were so many questions zooming around my head:

Who is he?
Why does he want her?
Why couldn't we see anything, even with our wolf vision?
Why can't I find a scent in the house?

"W-what are we going to do?" Bethany whimpered.

"We need the Alpha" I replied in a mono tone voice.

I turned towards the patio doors and stormed over to them, unlocking them and pushing them open harshly.

I looked up at the moon and prayed to the Moon Goddess that she would be safe until we reached her.

I felt Ruby and Bethany come either side of me, silently joining in with my prayer.

With that I tilted my head up and howled.

Katherine is like a sister. No. She is my sister and no one messes with my family.

No one.
