Anxiety 24 - Talking with the girls

I got up from the sofa after hearing the door bell ring, I pulled my shorts down more and walked over to the front door unlocking it and pulling it open letting a very excited Bitsie into the house. I closed the door after her confused by her presence "one why did you ring the door bell you have a key? And two you do know David has gone food shopping?" I questioned following her as she bounced round the house

"I left my key behind and I know David has gone shopping I wanted to see you silly. Oh and be warned the rest of the girls are coming round" I groaned at the thought of having all my female co stars round

"What have I done to deserve this?" I questioned dramatically

"You young lady went and got yourself a boyfriend" Bitsie exclaimed wagging a finger at me "without telling me David had to inform me of this momentous occasion"

I grinned sheepishly "oopps"

"Yeah oopps" Bitsie crossed her arms seemingly unimpressed by my actions. As quickly as she got annoyed with me Bitsie brightened up "and I heard you two have been surprising each other with random visits"

I smiled at that our time in New York together popping into my head "yeah we have been." A smile came onto Bitsie's face as she watched my face brighten at the mention of mine and Matt's time together

"Well you can tell me all about it when Claire and Bree get here"

"While we wait for them do you want a drink?" I questioned making a move to go to the kitchen to make myself a cup of tea

"Coffee" Bitsie said walking into the living room shoes already off and stationed by the front door

I walked into the kitchen putting the kettle on to boil for my tea while I turned the coffee machine on for Bitsie. "What time are Claire and Bree coming?" I question popping my head through the doorway just as the door bell goes off

"Now" Bitsie stood up from her position on the sofa to the front door letting our other cast mates into the house

"Do you two want anything?" I shout from the kitchen

"Coffee" I nodded my head at their response and went about making two extra cups of coffee

"Drink up" I spoke entering the living room with everyone's drinks on a tray. They thanked me as they grabbed a mug before motioning for me to sit in front of them so they could interrogate me on my relationship with Matt.

"So Remy" I sat there awkwardly as they started their interrogation "we've been told that someone got theirselves a boyfriend without consulting us"

I gulped "yeah that would be me"

"And his name is Matt" I nodded my head "and he's on a show called Shadowhunters" I again nodded my head "and he lives in Cali" I nodded "so this is long distance then"

"Yeah but we're making it work" I told them watching the three of them

"What's he like then?"

I smiled just thinking about Matt "he's sweet, understanding, he's funny in his own way"

"someone's in lurv" They joked causing me to blush

"Hang on no way! You actually love him!" Bitsie exclaimed hitting Claire's leg next to her in excitement

I rubbed the back of my neck awkwardly "we actually told each other that after our first proper date together in New York"

"Spill the beans" Bree demanded as Bitsie and Claire squealed in delight

"He took me to see The Book of Mormon on Broadway"

"That's literally your favourite musical" I nodded my head smiling

"I know"

"Keep him"

I nodded again "I am"

"You are so loved up it's adorable" Bree commented

"Matt makes me incredibly happy" I told them blushing behind my mug of tea

The girls awed at that causing me to go an even brighter shade of red

"You and Matt are my new favourite couple"

"We're my new favourite couple too. No offense Bits"

Bitsie shook her head "none taken. I want to meet him when he next comes to see you though"

I nodded my head a smile on my face just thinking about the next time Matt comes to Portland I couldn't wait to see him again.

"Anyway I feel like this interrogation is over enough about your cutesie relationship, how was New York" Bree asked her and the other two leaning forward eager to hear the details of my trip which I happily shared with them talking animatedly about my time in New York.
