Anxiety 31 - Mornings

Eyes glued to the screen as I scrolled down the page I tried to look for suitable date locations that would appeal to both me and Matt. It was my turn to organise date night since he organised it when we were in New York together and I had now been given the impossible task of topping our trip to see The Book of Mormon on Broadway. I let out a sigh as I continued to scroll the light of my laptop screen beginning to hurt my eyes giving an indicator of how long I had been doing this, I felt a body come up behind me bending down and placing their head on my shoulder "come on Rem stop looking at the screen" Matt spoke placing a chaste kiss to the skin connecting my shoulder and neck while closing the lid of my laptop

"But babe" I whined turning to him and giving him a kiss "I need to organise the best date ever"

Matt chuckled at my childish behaviour choosing to ignore the fact that I called him babe "and it won't be the best date ever if you pass out on me" Matt straightened up from his position behind me before picking me up and bringing me over to what I liked to fondly refer to as our bed plopping me down on the side of the bed that I had claimed as my own before joining me on the other side arms snaking around my waist and pulling me into his chest spooning me.

I snuggled closer into Matt turning in his arms so I could tangle our legs together and press my cheek against his chest "love you" I murmured sleepily

I felt a pair of lips on my forehead "love you too Rem"

The movement of the other person in the bed woke me up "I will kick you out of this bed if you continue moving" I spoke eyes still shut as I tried to cling onto the last tendrils of sleep

"Sorry Remy bear" Matt apologised his movements stilling

"You will be" I threatened not very threateningly as I was still under the influence of sleep

"You sound like a grumpy kitten" Matt teased a smile could be heard in his voice

"It's too early in the morning to be mean to your girlfriend" I spoke hand coming out to hit Matt in the face I grinned as a grumble confirmed that I had met my target

I squealed as a shockwave of cold air hit me, Matt had removed the bed covers exposing me to the elements of my room. I sat up and glared at him while trying to curl up into a ball to preserve warmth "well no date night for you then" I told him an unimpressed look on my face as I watched the tall form of my boyfriend bend in on itself as my words washed over him

"I'm sorry Remy bear" he apologised looking at me through his eyelashes

"I was just joking" I smiled at him "I'm actually ridiculously excited for this date"

"Oh no should I be worried?" Matt jokingly questioned a smile a teasing smile lighting up his entire face

"Definitely" I joked playing along "I'm going to take you somewhere and leave you stranded"

Matt rolled his eyes at me "you have been watching way too much Arrow"

I snorted crossing my arms "no I haven't I haven't been watching enough Arrow in my eyes"

"Whatever you say Remy bear"

Now it was my turn to roll my eyes at him arms coming out to lightly shove him hands pushing against his firm t shirt covered chest. Honestly I organise the best date ever for him and he's mean to me.

A/N they are too cute together. Sorry about the ending that's a bit iffy I didn't quite know how to end this chapter. On a different note all I've been listening to since like Tuesday is the Rocky Horror Show soundtrack........guys I need help. Anyway please remember to vote and comment
