*Song for this chapter - Love Me Like You Do by Ellie Goulding*

I lay on my back in bed, regaining control of my breathing. My heart rate began to slow to a normal level and I squeezed Kimmi closer to me. I hated being away from her so much, even just for a few days but it did make coming home even better. She always gave me a good welcome, let's just say that...

After Kimmi had got up to go to the bathroom I rolled over to check my phone. Three messages. One from Chai, asking to borrow some equipment. One from Mum, checking I had got home OK and one from Zoe. She thanked me for the weekend and I smiled, agreeing that it had been a great one. The next bit made me frown. She'd had a strange evening? What did that mean?

Just as I was contemplating whether to text back or ring her, Kimmi came back into the room. My attention immediately diverted, I took in her tiny frame, covered in smooth, even skin and her messy dark hair.
"Whatcha' doing?" she asked in a sing-song voice, sauntering over and laying out next to me on her front. It was hard to keep my eyes off her bum, which was partially covered by her pretty underwear.
"Nothing much. Just replying to some messages," I answered, flicking back onto my Mum's message.
"Who from?" she enquired, her voice steady, eyes on the phone in my hand.
"Mum, Chai..." I replied, refocusing my eyes back on the phone and bashing out a quick reply to Chai. I asked him if he wanted to meet up tomorrow so I could pass across the equipment and maybe film some videos together.

Glancing back up, I noticed her eyebrows were slightly raised and she was poised as though she were about to say something else.
"I thought I just saw one from Zoe?" she asked.
"Yeah, she messaged as well," I said, looking at Kimmi and noting her face. "What's wrong?" I asked, frowning.
"Nothing," she said quickly, snapping out of it and sitting up, legs crossed. "Just thought you would have mentioned it when I asked," she muttered, looking down and fiddling with a strand of hair. I paused, confused at the issue.
"Babe," I said, leaning up and gently lifting her chin so she was looking at me. "Are you being jealous?"
"No!" she snapped. "Not at all." But she couldn't look me in the eye. I stayed looking at her until she looked me directly in the eye and I could tell she was lying. I smirked slightly, biting my lip.
" Good, because you don't need to be. You're the only one for me," I said softly and a small smile broke out across her lips. She leaned in to kiss me and I knew we wouldn't just stop there. Zoe's message flashed across my mind again and I felt a pit of worry in my stomach, wondering what had happened to her. But I felt Kimmi's hand in mine, prising my phone out from my grasp and placing it on the bedside table and I knew replying would have to wait.
