- Demi's POV

We've been in Africa for a few days now, I've been keeping in touch with Alex and Soph. Right when we got in Africa I received I message from Sophie saying her family was really welcoming with Alex and even TJ who at first they thought was her new boyfriend which made Alex and Davi to burst into laughs. I miss my girls so much, but I'm having so much fun that it's keep me going, I mean, the fun and a little boy named Lain who I've grew up attached to. He speaks English, but not he's this great at all which makes the things he says sound really funny.

"Demi, Demi!" I was taken aback of my thought by Lain running toward me. I got on my knees so I could get him in my arms

"Hey baby boy." I said kissing his cheek while hugging him

"Demi they giving you goat." He said with a smile and I looked at him confused

"What do you mean baby boy?" I asked and he pointed to some people coming toward us with a goat. David, one of the guys from free the children, and mom came to my side with playful grins on their faces

"They're giving you a goat as a birthday gift. It's consider an honor so don't refuse it." David said whispering to me and I nodded

"We would like to give this animal in honor of your birthday miss Lovato." One of the natives said and I bowed my head while thanking him

"I'm really thankful." I said with Lain still in my arms, he's orphan, but as I learned here, orphan kids are not rejected, instead they're raised by all the community, but I still think it might be sad not to have parents only for himself, I mean, he can't run to his parents when he gets hurt, he has to wait for someone of his community to take care of him. I was really starting to think about how it could be if I adopted him, but I knew Sophie wasn't even wanting to adopt this early and we just got Alex one months and a half ago, but I couldn't help but feel connected to him. We went back to where everyone else was while caring my goat, it's so funny, I wish I could take it to my parents' farm, but it's just too much bureaucracy so I think I'm gonna give it to one of the families who received us

"Demi. Sophie and Alex on Skype!" Marissa shouted and I ran with Lain still in my arms to where she was. I sat by her said just to see my two favorite girls trough Mar's computer screen

"Hey girls!" I said waving to the camera. I looked at Lain who's mesmerized, David had told me Lain wasn't used to technology, I gave him a quickly squeeze to make sure he's okay, he looked at me with shining eyes making me giggle

"Hey love. Who's the little boy?" Soph asked making me look at the screen

"I Lain!" He said proudly with a smile

"It's I am baby boy." I said and he nodded

"I am Lain!" He said correcting himself

"Hi Lain. I am Alex, Demi's daughter." Alex said and Lain looked at her with a look I couldn't distinguish

"And I am Sophie, Demi's..." She stopped for me to continue, I got her since she didn't know how his vision was about lesbians or if he even comprehend it she let it for me to explain

"She's my girlfriend." I said and he nodded in not a big deal way. I could see he's still looking at Alex weirdly, "What's the problem baby boy?" I asked turning my head to face him

"I wish I be like Alex." He said getting me confuse

"What do you mean?" I asked and Marissa patted my back so I could look at her

"I think he means he wanted to be your son Demz." Mar said and Lain nodded shyly

"Aww, baby boy." I said kissing his cheek
