I apologize to anyone who isn't familiar with Buffy for this note, but I just wanted to share. After all, without Buffy there would be no Maddie. There would be no From Ashes.
My favorite show, my first fandom, the catalyst for my love of writing, video editing, and photoshop. I was thirteen when season 6 (2002) aired and I watched every episode live. When I had nothing, I had Buffy.
Buffy began 20 years ago today and today, my friends, we celebrate. This is a tribute to my favorite episode. Made in a day, not my best work, but a tribute all the same.
Thank you, Buffy, for 20 years of horror, sass, and slayage. My characters owe you everything. I owe you everything.
