Give me love like her,
'Cause lately I've been waking up alone,
Paint splattered teardrops on my shirt,
Told you I'd let them go,

And that I'll fight my corner,
Maybe tonight I'll call ya,
After my blood turns into alcohol,
No, I just wanna hold ya.

Give a little time to me or burn this out,
We'll play hide and seek to turn this around,
All I want is the taste that your lips allow,
My, my, my, my, oh give me love,
My, my, my, my, oh give me love,
My, my, my, my, oh give me love,
My, my, my, my, give me love,

Give me love like never before,
'Cause lately I've been craving more,
And it's been a while but I still feel the same,
Maybe I should let you go,

You know I'll fight my corner,
And that tonight I'll call ya,
After my blood is drowning in alcohol,
No, I just wanna hold ya.

Give a little time to me or burn this out,
We'll play hide and seek to turn this around,
All I want is the taste that your lips allow,
My, my, my, my, oh give me love,

Give a little time to me or burn this out,
We'll play hide and seek to turn this around,
All I want is the taste that your lips allow,
My, my, my, my, oh give me love,
My, my, my, my, oh give me love,
My, my, my, my, oh give me love,
My, my, my, my, oh give me love,
My, my, my, my, oh give me love.

M-my my, m-my my, m-my my, give me love, lover,
M-my my, m-my my, m-my my, give me love, lover,
M-my my, m-my my, m-my my, give me love, lover,
M-my my, m-my my, m-my my, give me love, lover.

My, my, my, my, oh give me love,
My, my, my, my, oh give me love,
My, my, my, my, oh give me love,
My, my, my, my, oh give me love,
My, my, my, my, oh give me love,
My, my, my, my, oh give me love,
My, my, my, my, oh give me love,
My, my, my, my, oh give me love,
My, my, my, my, oh give me love.

~Demi

My jaw dropped as my already exhausted mind tried to process the words that just came out of her mouth. Two weeks?

"Are you fucking kidding me?" I spat, my words coming out more venomous than I intended. Lauren looked at me, bewildered.

"Demi I-.. I thought you'd be happy. What's the problem?" She queried. I laughed incredulously.

"The problem? The "problem", Lauren, is lying back there in that hospital bed. I can't just leave. I can't leave her."

My mind was whirling. I had always tried to put my health first. Even on my torus and all my events, they were completely sober, healthy. No one was more important than my health. It always took first priority. Until now.

"You can't stay here forever Demi, you know that." Lauren shot back, her voice slightly raised. She was getting angry. "Leah has to go through her own recovery, no one can do it for her. Even you. This is something she has to face alone. Just like you did."

My mind quickly flashed back to my first time in rehab. I was completely and utterly isolated from my friends, family.. Everyone I cared about. But at least I knew I had them. Leah is here on her own, god only knows where her family is or if they'd even care.

"Lauren, she doesn't have anyone! We both know the only person she's opened up to is me. You know that. I'm not going anywhere until she can walk out of that clinic with me."

My whole body was jerked forward suddenly as Lauren stamped on the brake, bringing the car to an abrupt standstill. I rubbed the back of my neck and turned to her.

"Jesus Christ Lauren, what the fu-" I was cut off by a pair of lips attaching to mine. My whole body froze for the split second that the kiss lasted for before she pulled away, focusing her gaze on the steering wheel. Before I could say anything she started to speak, her voice trembling.
