If you ever leave me, baby,
Leave some morphine at my door
Cause it would take a whole lot of medication
To realize what we used to have,
We don't have it anymore.

There's no religion that could save me
No matter how long my knees are on the floor, oh
So keep in mind all the sacrifices I'm making
To keep you by my side
And keep you from walking out the door.

Cause there'll be no sunlight
If I lose you, baby
There'll be no clear skies
If I lose you, baby
Just like the clouds,
my eyes will do the same if you walk away
Everyday, it will rain,
rain, rain

I'll never be your mother's favorite
ah ,Your daddy can't even look me in the eye
Oooh if I was in their shoes, I'd be doing the same thing
Saying there goes my little girl
walking with that troublesome guy
But they're just afraid of something they can't understand
Oooh well little darling watch me change their minds
Yeah for you I'll try, I'll try, I'll try, I'll try
I'll pick up these broken pieces 'til I'm bleeding
If that'll make you mine

Cause there'll be no sunlight
if I lose you, baby
There'll be no clear skies
if I lose you, baby
Just like the clouds,
my eyes will do the same if you walk away
Everyday, it will rain,
rain, rain

Ooooh Don't just say
goodbye, don't just say, goodbye
I'll pick up these broken pieces 'til I'm bleeding
If that'll make it right

Cause there'll be no sunlight
if I lose you, baby
There'll be no clear skies
if I lose you, baby
And just like the clouds,
my eyes will do the same if you walk away
Everyday, it will rain,
rain, rain, rain... Oh

Breathless.

That's the only word I can use to describe the way she left me. Her soft hands caressing my body, her plump lips kissing every single one of my scars. The sense of complete and utter bliss I felt, something I had never felt before, whenever I was with her.

Her whole body reacted to my touch, my lips, my tongue. Goosebumps littered her soft skin and the the fire in her eyes seemed to burn brighter when she looked at me, reaching her high. She was breathtaking.

We flopped back onto the bed, panting and exhausted. A slight sheen of sweat was covering her skin and catching the light streaming through the window, making her look almost luminous. I was distracted from my train of thought as she leaned over and captured my lips with hers.

"What's up, buttercup?" She murmured, kissing and nibbling along my jawline. I closed my eyes and sighed contentedly.

"Not a thing, baby. I'm just thinking about how beautiful you are." I paused, swallowing painfully as the reality of the situation hit me. "And how much I'm going to miss you."

Leah frowned and wrapped her free arm around my waist, pulling me closer. I found myself holding my breath, not wanting to hurt her injured skin. She kissed my nose and leaned her forehead against mine.

"I'll miss you just as much," she replied, her voice heavy with sadness. "Even more than you'll know. But you've done your time here and you need to leave. As much as that hurts me and breaks my heart.. You need to go."

A lone tear escaped the corner of my eye and she reached up to wipe it away. I closed my eyes under her gentle touch, willing myself not to crumble in front of her. A torrent of tears suddenly began to spill over the rims of my eyes and my body was racked with sobs.
