Tell me how I'm supposed to breathe with no air

If I should die before I wake
It's 'cause you took my breath away
Losing you is like living in a world with no air
Oh

I'm here alone, didn't wanna leave
My heart won't move, it's incomplete
Wish there was a way that I can make you understand

But how do you expect me
to live alone with just me
'Cause my world revolves around you
It's so hard for me to breathe

Tell me how I'm supposed to breathe with no air
Can't live, can't breathe with no air
It's how I feel whenever you ain't there
It's no air, no air
Got me out here in the water so deep
Tell me how you gonna be without me
If you ain't here, I just can't breathe
It's no air, no air

No air, air
No air, air
No air, air
No air, air

I walked, I ran, I jumped, I flew
Right off the ground to float to you
There's no gravity to hold me down for real

But somehow I'm still alive inside
You took my breath, but I survived
I don't know how, but I don't even care

So how do you expect me
to live alone with just me
'Cause my world revolves around you
It's so hard for me to breathe

No air, air
No air, air
No air, air
No air, air
No more
It's no air, no air

No air, air
No air, air
No air, air
No air, air

Tell me how I'm supposed to breathe with no air
Can't live, can't breathe with no air
It's how I feel whenever you ain't there
It's no air, no air

Got me out here in the water so deep
Tell me how you gonna be without me
If you ain't here, I just can't breathe
It's no air, no air

No air, air
No air, air
No air, air
No air

I watched Demi walk back and forth between the wardrobe and her suitcase, using every ounce of my willpower not to burst into tears and beg her to stay with me. Her face was slightly pale under her makeup and her eyes were red behind her dark eye make up.

"Mom said she'd be here at two," she muttered more to herself than to me. "So that gives me an hour to pack and say my good-byes to everyone. If Max comes we'll have to go straight to the airport and fly home to Texas because he has to catch his flight to Australia and-"

Her quiet mutters turned into a full on rant and I stood up from the edge of my bed and pulled her into my embrace.

"Woah, easy Dems. You'll give yourself an aneurism if you keep stressing out." I joked lightly, trying to take her mind off things. She snorted and wrapped her arms around my neck and gave me a quick peck on the lips, sighing heavily.

"I'm sorry," she muttered. "This whole thing.. It's freaking me out. Here, I have a routine, I know exactly what's going to happen every day. I know what people I'm going to see and what food I'm gonna eat. But out there.."

She trailed off and chewed her lip anxiously. I mentally scolded myself for thinking how fucking cute she looked and how her leg jigged about when she was nervous.
