On Christmas Day Aurora couldn't even recognise Grimmauld Place. Sirius had been working tirelessly over the last few days to clean and decorate the entire place (of course with the help of the Weasley children) The normally cobwebbed filled chandeliers were now sparkling and instead of cobwebs, garlands of holly and silver streamers hung from them instead. Sirius charmed glittery snow to fall from the ceiling in the dining room, thankfully due to magic the snow wasn't cold at all, instead it was pleasantly warm when it landed on your exposed skin.

A giant Christmas tree which was decorated with live fairies, was blocking the Black's family tree from view, causing Sirius to instantly feel happier, even though he wasn't able to tear the family tree down it was a good feeling that he was still able to block it from view so well. Even if it was only for a few days.

With a loud crack, Fred, Aurora and George apparated in Harry and Ron's room.

"Merry Christmas," Aurora smiled brightly at the two boys.

"Don't go downstairs for a bit," George added, smiling just as brightly as the black haired girl.

"Why not?" Ron asked.

"Mum's crying again," Fred explained with a deep sigh, "Percy sent back his Christmas jumper."

"Without a note," George added, "Hasn't asked how dad is or visited him or anything."

"We've tried comforting her," Fred said, "Told her Percy's nothing more than a humongous pile of rat droppings."

"Didn't work," George said, helping himself to a Chocolate Frog, "So Remus took over. Best let him cheer her up before we go down for breakfast, I recon."

"But, I've got some good news," Aurora piped up, smiling warmly. Fred and George both shared confused glances, they had noticed the girl was  a lot more cheerful since last night, but they had no idea why, "Someone else is joining us for Christmas."

Ron groaned, "Who?"

Aurora rolled her eyes before she looked directly at the youngest ginger haired boy, "Your dad," she told him before she smirked as she saw the shock on everyone's face.

"What?" Fred asked, "H-How do you know?"

Aurora smiled at him, "I overheard your mum telling my dad last night. Remus and Tonks are going over to pick him up..." she looked down at her new watch, "in about an half an hour."

Fred couldn't help but sweep her up into his arms causing her to laugh as he swung her around before he pulled her back into his chest. His smile was stretched from ear to ear as were his brother's and Harry's too. All of them incredibly glad to finally hear some good news. Aurora snuggled deeper into Fred's chest, her own lips pulled up in a smile. Arthur Weasley was a part of her family, he had been ever since the twins brought her back to the Burrow in their first year, and she couldn't help but feel ecstatic knowing he's getting out of the  hospital.

"We better go get dressed then," George said quickly, causing Fred and Aurora to pull away and nod in agreement.

"Yeah," Aurora nodded, "Oh, wait. Just whatever you do, don't tell Ginny about your dad."

"What?" Fred asked, his face filled with confusion as he looked down at his girlfriend, "Why?"

"It's gonna be a surprise," Aurora explained, her smile so wide it looked as if it could split her cheeks in half, "A bloody great one at that!"

Fred couldn't help himself as he smiled. His heart beating incredibly fast as he looks into Aurora's chocolate brown eyes, he knew she cared so much about his sister. About his whole family. And that made his body tingle. He grabbed her face in his hands, his large hands cupping her soft cheeks, completely forgetting about his brothers and Harry who were still watching them. He looked softly into her eyes, his own filled with happy tears that no one could see apart from Aurora whose heart was beating as such an incredibly fast speed she thought it would burst.

She loved seeing Fred happy, especially when she was the one to deliver good news to him. It made her heart flutter and her body tingle. The feeling of his large calloused hands cupping her cheeks was sending waves of electric throughout her entire body. His eyes - which usually glistened with mischief - now were filled with a completely different emotion.

"I love you."

Aurora's breath hitched. Gasps were heard from behind them but neither one broke their eye contact. Her lips were parted in shock as she looked into Fred's eyes, he looked so genuine it made her heart skip a few beats, "Y-y-you do?"

Fred chuckled but nodded his head. His hands were now sweating as he felt the rejection coming on, yet the confident side of him just nodded, "Yeah, I really do."

A happy tear rolled out of Aurora's eye and Fred was quick to wipe it away, "I love you too."

This time it was Fred's turn to be shocked, "You do?"

She nodded her head, "I really do," she told him, sending him a small wink before she looked serious again, "I love you, Fred Weasley."

"I love you too, Aurora Black."

And with that their lips collided. The kiss was gentle and sweet, but filled to the brim with emotions. Fred's hands were still holding onto her face and she moved hers to rest gently on his biceps.

"Are you crying?" Ron's voice broke them apart.

Aurora and Fred turned their heads to look at him, Harry and George before they noticed George sniffling and wiping his eyes on his pyjama top, shaking his head as he avoided eye contact, "No. I'm not!" He yelled.
