Up above is what Jasper's hair colour for book 1 of this series.

"Mom, I don't wanna do this."

"She won't be a child forever, Jocelyn."

"For now, I don't want her to be part of our world."

Clary then jolted awake from the nightmare—well, more like some fragments of her memory from her childhood; seeing a man with yellow cat eyes.

"Hey, hey. It's okay."

She saw Jace by the side of her bed; sitting and his arm on her shoulder.

"I'm here. You're safe."

He added.

"Jace."

"What?."

He asked; confused of why she was calling him Jace. Clary furrowed her eyebrows and blinked—seeing not Jace; but Simon in front of her.

"You alright? You seem to be out of it still."

"Simon."

"Hey, I got you. You okay? Must be one heck of a nightmare, huh?."

"I guess? I saw that I was strapped in a piece of furniture and my mom was there—she kept telling this guy to protect me but he reached out his hand and ripped out my brain."

"Little Freddy Cougar."

Clary sighed.

"What are you doing here?. Shouldn't you be treated already?."

"Uh, I just really need to see you."

"Not just you, nerd."

A new but oh-so-familiar voice sounded from the door. Both of them turned their heads at the newcomer; Jasper, who was wearing a black skin tight turtleneck underneath a loose, royal blue crop top with sleeves till elbows paired with black skinny but flexible jeans with belt and black leather platform ankle boots.

"Wow, you look, good."

Clary commented as she looked at Jasper's style.

"I can faintly see the outline of your abs, Jazz."

"Come on, Simon. You worked out with me everytime, you have abs too."

"Shut up, man!."

Simon blushed; making Jasper and Clary laugh at his faint red cheeks.

"I'm sorry, Simon. My actions put you in danger. You too, Jasper."

"I'm fine, Clary—Yeah, don't sweat it, Clare."

Simon and Jasper spoke at the same time, making Clary chuckle; this happens everytime when Clary apologized or she wanted to something—those two brothers are like twins.
