Chapter 10 - Love is an Open Door

The moon sat high above the fjord, the light dappling through the trees and a slight breeze drifted through the air.

Hiccup basked in the beauty of the garden, yes he did live in a place where calling something beautiful was an understatement, but he didn't care.

Elsa's loosened up, as the two of them began to walk further into the garden eventually stopping in a seated area.

Hiccup wasn't sure what to say to the platinum blonde woman, she was everything he remembered about her.

" Sorry about before, I just haven't spoken with my sister in year's and find talking rather hard." Elsa rambled, Hiccup couldn't help but smile, he understood very well what she was going through.

" You probably think I'm crazy, someone who doesn't like talking." Elsa rubbed her forearm, Hiccup shook his head.

" No, I completely understand, where I come from I don't get to really see people up close, it's always at a distance." Hiccup said chuckling, Elsa felt something between them.

She hadn't met anyone who spoke to her with such ease and comfort before, she decided to ask him about the pendant.

" Prince Hiccup, where did you get that pendant?" Hiccup looked down at the snowflake and lifted it up so he could see it.

He was dying to tell her the truth, Elsa just had this magical look in her eyes, that pleaded with him to reveal.

~ Line Break ~

Sitting on a banister, of the Castle's many balconies, was Anna and Hans, the Princess was instructing Hans how to eat a whole cube of chocolate.

" Yeah, the whole thing, you got it." Hans swallowed the chocolate, slightly chuckling as Anna smiled up at him.

" Ok, so wait, you have how many brothers?" Asked Anna, Hans shook his head and leaned forward.

" 12 older brothers, three of them pretended I was invisible." Hans answered Anna, the girl was rather shocked.

" Literally, for two years." Hans shook his head, he did not want to relive that experience, Anna frowned.

" That's horrible." Anna confessed, looking up into his eyes, Hans shrugged.

" It's what brothers do." Anna smiled, she knew exactly how Hans felt, looking down at the gardens.

She spotted her sister and Prince Hiccup holding hands and talking, she felt kind of left out.

" And sisters, Elsa and I were really close when we were little, but then." Anna paused, still looking down at her sister and the Prince.

" One day she just shut me out and I never knew why." Anna took in deep breath, Hans grabbed her hand.

" I would never shut you out." Anna grinned, this man was so much like her and she just needed to let her heart out to him.

" Ok, can I just say something crazy?" Anna asked, darting her eyes all over to the balcony.

" I love crazy." Hans answered, as Anna jumped down from the banister and took a deep breath.

~ Que The Singing ~

" All life, there's been a series of doors in my face and then suddenly I bump into you." Anna closed the balcony doors and swing her dress around.

" I've been thinking the same thing, cause I've been searching my whole life to find my own place." Hans looked out at Arrendale, smiling.

" Maybe it's the party talking or the chocolate fondue." Hans wiped Anna's cheek, the redhead giggled.

Hiccup had a feeling that Elsa was the eldest sibling he lived with all those years ago, there was just something so familiar and right about her.

"Oh I got it from the family I was raised by before I was crowned Prince of Bewilder." Hiccup stated, Elsa knew this was the Hiccup she remembered.

" I feel like I've met you before in another place, another time maybe," Elsa said staring into his emerald eyes and Hiccup into her ice blue orbs.

" I feel the same, I remember playing with a girl with your exact characteristic when I was younger." Elsa gasped this was the Hiccup from her childhood.

Elsa was about to say how much she had missed him, but Kai cleared his throat and interrupted her.

" Your Majesty, the other guest are wondering where you are and I came to tell you that some of the dignitaries would like to discuss trade options with you." The man said looking at Hiccup with suspicion.

" Oh, ah alright, Prince Hiccup would you like to accompany me back to the ball?" Elsa asked him, Hiccup smiled and took her arm as they walked back to the ballroom.

" I think you know me very well your majesty." Hiccup whispered in her ear and Elsa giggled.

The sound of chattering filled their ears and they could see a few people bow as hey entered the room.

" Elsa I have something to." Hiccup was about to tell Elsa who he really was but got cut off by Anna who was trying to reach Elsa.
